Many people who visit Acadia National Park forget about this beautiful area. Not only are there some great hiking tours but it is a wonderful place to watch the sun go down.

Nice ocean views with softer black granite running through seams in the harder pink granite. Some tidal pools. Excellent explanation for why the ocean water in Maine is so cold!

seeing the sun rise over the ocean on the top of the peninsula is a beautiful sight. If anyone who has visited atlantic city thinks the view over there is good, then this is more than 100 times better and beautiful.

You absolutely MUST see this place! No visit to Acadia Park even comes close to the vistas at this point! If you miss this then you have missed it all!!! Highly recommend and will return someday to take it all in again!
