We entered on Rte. 3 and circumnavigated the island including traversing the loop road. We stopped often to take in the incredible land and seascapes many of which are postcard material. This is Mother Nature at her best!!

Two nights on the island in September and it was great. Stayed in Bar Harbor and visited Cadillac mountain, drove the Loop Road and generally explored. We loved it and it made a great impression on us.

With so many hiking opportunities within such a small area. it's almost impossible to get bored. The rung and ladder trails are particularly impressive and fun! And the views can't be beat!!
