We went to Gab Gab to dive. Gab Gab 1 is a plate coral reef that runs 110 - 290. Easy entry low to no current. Visibility was about 40-50 due to a northeast trade wind at about 10-15kts not typical. Gab Gab 2 is a 200m long reef running 120 - 300 about 200m off of Gab Gab 1.... More

As we were staying on the Navy base we went here every day of our stay and it was wonderful. During the week there were only a few others and while there were more people having picnics and grilling on the weekend, it was never crowded. You defiantly need to wear wet shoes on the beach and in the water... More

Wow! When visiting Guam, we were lucky enough to be able to use our base privileges to access this area. We didn't spend much time on the beach itself -- Tumon is definitely more spectacular in that regard. The draw here is the amazing snorkeling right off the beach. We put our three kids (7, 9, and 11) in life... More

What a great place to enjoy the beach while on the Naval Station! It has such a great entry and exit area and calm swimming region. Good for snorkeling and diving as well. Restroom facilities and covered areas for bar-b-ques are also plentiful. Bring sunscreen and enjoy!

This is the "main" beach located on Naval base Guam. It has everything a family needs, (bathrooms, picnic areas, etc), but as the main beach is usually busy. Great to let the lil ones splash and play, but the other beaches have better snorkeling and diving.

This is a great place to go if you want to relax and get away from the crowds of Tumon Bay. Other review's indicate Gab Gab is the best snorkeling on the Island, but we found Tumon Bay to be better. Admittedly, we are beginners so maybe we didn't do it right. Gab Gab has several shelters with barbecue pits... More

If you're in the area and have access to the base, this is a great dive or snorkel spot. Easy access from shore and the reef is in fantastic shape. There's picnic tables and showers and a staging area for your gear. We were there over July 4th weekend and the park was pretty clean except for the restrooms which... More

Very clean and well-maintained beach. There is a long strip of sand beach as well as a pool area that's about 10-12 feet deep that you can enter to swim straight out to snorkel the corals. The water here is calm since it is located in Apra Habor. Sunsets are gorgeous. Great for snorkeling, lots of corals and sea life... More

You need a military ID to access this beach on Naval Base Guam. We were visiting from Japan and had no issues getting on base and finding the beach- lots of signs. Nice covered picnic areas with tables, and BBQs. This is definitely one of the better beaches on Guam. It was quite shallow though - perhaps we were there... More

Beautiful beach. Great place to snorkle. No fishing is a plus. Picnic areas too. Restricted to military access personnel and their families.
