Hubby and I had visited Bellows Beach on a previous visit and were eager to return during our recent trip. Luckily we had access to the military section of this tropical heaven, and it was as beautiful as we remembered. Although we did not stay on property, additional condos had been added to the beach houses available for rent. A... More

It is a clean Beach comma and not very crowded. However the waves are quite large and it's a little hard to swim. You can not bring canned beer onto the beach. It is a little out of the way. It is good for military families he wanted to scout cabin this day and a nice view on the beach.... More

Have traveled all over the Hawaiian islands, and this is, by far, the best beach in the island chain. The setting is gorgeous no matter the day; the weekends can be crowded, but there is plenty of space, and you can find yourself alone in nothing flat. Highly recommend!

This setting with immediately transport you to a world of peace, overwhelming beauty and tranquillity. The waves are huge and water aquamarine. Pack a lunch and stay all day and prepare to enter the most beautiful place on this earth. The beach opens at noon on Friday and stays open the weekend and Wednesdays.

Through a tip, we accessed this beach with my fathers military ID. The beach we think is the best on Oahu. Military can access any day but the other part is open to the public on the weekend. The water is gorgeous, the waves are perfect, and the sand is fine. Well worth a stop on the island.

Watch for jellyfish... otherwise best boogie boarding!!! Beautiful location! Lots of beach, never too crowded. Cabins for staying the night are amazing and perfect location!

We were able to go onto Bellows Beach because our son is an army officer, but it is open to the public on the weekend. It had the best sand we found on the island and there was hardly anyone there. Loved it!

I went on the military side of Bellows. It was secluded, quiet, clean, and good clear water. Great place to boogey board or just relax. It is on the eastern side of the island so it isn't a great place for sunsets, but it was definitely my favorite beach that I went to.
