Small but lovely sea life park
We only had less than 1.5 hrs. here before it closed for the day and we still managed to see all the exhibits with enough time to catch the bus back to Waikiki. Peak crowd was gone for the day then so there was no waiting or congestion. The highlight was the aviary where we were able to feed the birds from our hands! Hubby, my toddler and I all got to experience this wonder. Also loved seeing the sea turtles and dolphins up close.

WOW! Well done to the folks that run this place and to their staff.
WOW! What a great little sea park and fantastic luau! We started our afternoon at the sea park which was included in the luau ticket. Lots of rescued sea animals and very interesting stories about them. The staff obviously loved working there, they were so caring to the animals and to the tourists. The luau was extremely well done. It was well organized and had lots of fun side activities before the show. Lots of good food choices too. The location was spectacular, sandwiched between the mountain and sea, just breathtaking. The show took you on a history tour of the island and the dancers were having so much fun, it was infectious, you couldn't help but have a great time. Well done to the folks that run this place and to their staff, thank you for a memorable day!

    See the dolphins.
We used the GOCITY pass & did it as our premium attraction. Becareful with the GoCity pass we had an issue & almost missed it because they said we used the premium attraction when we didn't. We almost missed out on it because of it. Everyone in sea lif was nice, understanding & I love the dolphins. Best thing ever.

    Sealife animal park
Sea life animal park was a wonderful experience. We reserved time to meet the dolphins 🐬 and take pictures. We got there at 10:30am, the drive up the coast was beautiful. I would suggest to make those stops to take those pictures. Unfortunately, we didn’t stop and I now regret it. We had a large group of 11, 2 children, 1 senior. I was able to rent a wheelchair and have my mom explore. We went on the left side of the park and saw, turtles, birds, sea lions, and the dolphin show. We had lunch at the Kaukau kitchen, food was good, pretty pricy. Food and drinks were not allowed in the pork. Dolphin show was good, we enjoyed the entertainment. Soon after, we swam and met the dolphins. We took pictures, so be ready to spend. It was $190 for 5 physical copies and the digital pictures for the rest. This is quite expensive so be ready for it. Clean up after is an outside shower, bring ocean friendly soap and extra towels if you’re staying after. Our agenda after this event was their in house luau. 3 out of 5 because of price, no food or drinks allowed in the park, and not allowed to take pictures during luau setup since they want you to purchase their photos. Staff were very friendly! Overall, fun place to take young children and enjoy the setting! Very windy area, but also beautiful.

A good place to learn about some of the animals that live in Hawaii.
This is a great place to see some animals up close. There is a short program every 15-30minutes. We got to learn about turtles, seals, sea lions, penguins and sharks. We also go to see a dolphin show. We snacked on popcorn, dippin dots and dole whip. They also have a food bar. We also took some photos with the most beautiful background. This is a good 1/2 day event. I heard they have a luau but we didn’t attend.

Beautiful view of ocean and good dolphin show
Attended the park before the luau at Sea Life Park. We took the arranged transport bus and times were limited. Left at 12:40pm and arrived at about 1:10pm. Luau did not start until after 5pm. After 1 hour at the park, I felt betrayed and trapped at a very boring park miles away from anything. The plus was the dolphin and wholphin show at 3:30pm. And the luau was amazing - but not Sea Life park. This is a small sea life park. I think it would be great for little kids. Easy to get around and not many people. Tickets to the luau will provide free entrance to Sea Life for 5 days. Sounds good, but after seeing it once, I don’t want to go back.

Probably not worth a special trip (unless you are headed to the Luau)
A nice little marine park that could use an update. We stopped in before the Luau and we could have done it in 1hr. My boys, 12 & 9, enjoyed it but tired of it after an hour. The turtles, the shark feeding and the dolphin show were the highlight. It was fine but not a must see.

    Not worth it
We got the Go City Pass and this was on their list of activities and since we were going to the Aloha Kai Luau at Sea life Park we thought it would be a fun activity to do prior to the show. We reserved 3 hours of our day to do the park and we were bored after an hour. The highlight was the Love Birds enclosure, they give you a small stick with bird food and the birds fly to you. Not worth it, so much other activities to do and see.

DO NOT COME HERE. This park is a complete and total rip off. My friend and I did the dolphin experience, which was valued at $140 each, and they had the AUDACITY to tell us we weren't allowed to take our own photos and that they were going to charge us $60 to take three lame photos of us. The photos weren't even good, and they don't even provide you with digital copies. Seriously, how dare you try to charge people so much for photos when you're already charging a lot of money for the experience itself. Absolutely disgusted at how commercialized this place is. We really wanted our pictures, but no way were we going to pay $120 for them.

A beautiful park with lots of educational and interactive exhibits although a couple exhibits where closed. We spent more than four hour exploring all the park has to offer. Our favourite exhibit was the Honu Turtle Habitat, the only active breeding colony of green sea turtles in the United States. We got to pet a baby green sea turtle and learn of its origins, and feed the larger full-grown green sea turtles (turtle food is purchased inside the gift shop). The dolphin show and sea lion show were pretty cool too. There was only one dining option open during our visit that had a limited menu but reasonable prices.

We purchased tickets to the Ka Moana Lu'au in advance online so our park admission was free. We were given the choice of doing both in a single day or separately. We opted for same day but in hindsight, we don't recommend it. Because the park closed at 4pm and the lu'au didn't start until 5:30pm, we had to hang out in our rental car in the park's parking lot for an hour and a half.

My family and I really enjoyed visiting this park. We had a blast. My favorite part was seeing the cute dolphins and feeding the birds. It is a small park but that doesn’t take away from the fun and beauty of it. I was suggest going earlier when they open so you can see all of the shows and really get your money’s worth. If you’re like me and love sea life then I think this would a cool spot to check out.

We went on 12/12/22 and the park was somewhat empty, probably due to COVID. While one exhibit was closed (the shark cove), all the others were opened and were fun to view. Our favorite was the aviary. They had 3 species of birds to feed, but only the love birds would land on you and land on you they did. At times on your head, camera, arms, etc. They were super friendly and fun to interact with. While Sea Life Park is not as action packed as snorkeling or going on a helicopter, it is a great place to visit when you want to have a slower day of it. While we didn't do it, you can pay extra for entering the water and interacting directly with some of the animals.

Aloha, Mahalo for taking the time to leave your review. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by our renovations. Our team is happy to hear that your party was still able to enjoy our aviary! We had paid for a dolphin encounter package for 2 adults and 1 teenager. Be warn due to COVID there is no swimming with the dolphins. You will briefly touch the dolphin and learn about their anatomy. The whole time the staff will focus on the pictures they will be taking which will be put for sale at the end of the activity. Honestly the pictures are overpriced!! We paid around $350 in pictures. I will never do that again! All together the encounter package and pictures summed up to around $700... just to briefly touch the dolphin and take pictures. We could have invested that many on something else. Save your money and do something else worth the money!

Did the dolphin encounter and it was really good. I felt like we had plenty of time in the pool with the dolphin to feel satisfied. We alternated taking photos with the dolphin showing us some tricks and got to pet it and toss fish into its mouth several times. My first grade child was over the moon! Loved it.

This is a nice size sea life park for Hawaii. It doesn’t need to get bigger as the weather is beautiful but hot. So spending 3-4 hours is all you want to do there. My favourite is the dolphin show and feeding the turtles as my kid enjoyed them the most. They have a mixed bred dolphin and killer whale, the only one in the world. It was also nice that they had a small playground for the kids to have a break from the animals and just play.

The food court was alright and a little on the expensive side.

The only con is the garbage cans were shaped as dolphins which thinking about it gives mixed messages. We all hear about the garbage that gets to the ocean that kills sea animals when they consume rubbish but at the park we have to throw out trash by putting rubbish into their mouths! Think of the children!

Overall it was a good experience and would recommend if you’re visiting Oahu with kids.

We spent about 2 hours in this park with 2 young kids (6 and 8) and 2 seniors. The park was small enough that we didn’t not exert ourselves. Everyone enjoyed the dolphin and seal shows.
Kids particularly enjoyed the bird feeding.

The park is right next to the ocean and the breeze made the walk even easier. Place does seem a bit run down, for example glass clearly has algae on it, inside. With the amount of sun it gets in Hawaii, I bet it’s a chore to keep it clean, but that did stick out like a sore thumb to me.

Parking was ~ $10. If you show up early, there are plenty of spaces. We got there about 15 min after they open at 10 am. When we were leaving 2 hours later, it was pretty full, but the park did not seem crowded. Maybe there are other parking in the back. We did not do the “experience” and used the Go City Pass to visit. So it was def good value and we would be back again.

The exhibits are basic and great learning experiences for kids. The Ka Moana Luau is in a lovely location but the buffet ran out of most foods before I got to the buffet. That was very disappointing. The evening show was nice, it would be better if they could hire more dancers. I understand that the State is just reopening after Covid closures and everywhere needs more staff.

I attended a Luau here in October. I booked this through travel shack. The coach picked me up from my hotel and we did a couple of other pick ups but then went to the sea life park. It is shut to the main general public and the park is closed off. However you do pass a couple of attractions that you can glimpse at. The Luau is well organised. I had the gold package with a flower lai. The food is a buffet and the choice ok. Because I was on my own I found it difficult to get up for drinks etc. if you are with someone else you can help each other without compromising your seat or leaving possessions. The show itself was amazing. A great variety and storytelling.
The gold package with a flower lai, close seating and first buffet serving was worth it.
