This is a beach that runs several miles parallel to the Farrington Highway. Other than at one location, there are limited facilities and water available.

Mokuleia Army Beach is military only. It is fairly remote, way up on the North Shore near Kaena Pt. When I was stationed at Schofield Barracks, I would ride my bicycle down to Mokuleia and study for boards since no one else was there and I could study in solitude. If you like pounding surf, and less people, this is the place to go. Miles of beach and very few people on it. The surf pounds the shore and it is very peaceful to sit and stare at the ocean.

Don’t go there. There are sea monsters aka turtles and giant squids that will grab and eat random people. Please stay away. Why? Because really I just want this pretty beach all to myself ;)

We wanted a quiet beach for a picknick and a dip and found this gem. When we had chosen our spot we saw big sea turtles in the ocean. We could watch them from shore and also take nice pictures of them. Great experience all by chance!!
