This place is poorly laid out. A lot of dead ends, no entry etc. Not much to see. Not worth the park and walk. Short part of walk has walkway, if you venture off path for their nore adventurous part, you quickly realize there is...More

I use to live close to this back in the '60's. I would sometimes go on a "prayer walk" late at night, and sometimes cut across and go through the botanical gardens.

I live within 10 miles so I visit as often as possible. No admission. Restrooms are clean. Parking is limited but usually okay. Pamphlets of interest are available at counter.

Mostly in shade this garden remains cooler during Oahu's hot days. An excellent collection of plants; free; few visitors. Depending on the time of year return visits will discover new attractions.

Visited the Wahiawa Botanical Gardens in February 2017. The gardens have good walking paths and tracks but there are some of the gardens that are only accessible via stairs. There are is a great variety of species of plants and trees throughout the garden.

We really wanted to go to a Botanical Garden and this one was free. It was very quiet and empty so we had the place almost to ourselves. You can get a map for a nice self-guided tour. There are different levels of paths depending...More

Sorry, cannot recall how much we paid. I am sure one can find from their web site. It was not very expensive.

I didn't see any dogs there but they do have a "contact" link on their web page so best to check with them directly.
