One of the top Hawaii attractions includes the Polynesian Cultural Center, which features a 42-acre facility on the North Shore of Oahu. Founded in 1963, the nonprofit Center was created so that the students of nearby Brigham Young University Hawaii could work their way through college by sharing their island heritage with visitors. The students come from an area that covers approximately 12 million square miles of the Pacific Ocean.

We went as a party of 15. Had a great day. Exhibits of different islands are learning about other cultures is great - highly recommended. Go early take it all in. We then had LuAu and then saw the nightly show which was just superb. Congratulations to everyone involved this is a quality must see venue when visiting Oahu.

We did this tour incorporating the circle island tour. The bus picked us up and we got to see a lot on the way. Our driver Henry was amazing, he had a terrific sense of humour and was full of information on the local areas and points of interest. We were able to get off bus to take photos. The... More

We did the full day with our kids (11 & 9) and there was plenty to see and do. Fully recommend a guide (we did the ambassador tour) as they keep the day moving. All staff and performers were fantastic and very friendly.

We did the entry after 4.00pm in the afternoon. We also took the package which picked us up from our Hotel. About 1 hour (depending on traffic) from Honolulu. Before the dinner and show started we had about 45 minutes to wander around shops etc. Both show and dinner were great. Thought we might be rushed for dinner, but it... More

We thoroughly enjoyed touring this facility. It gives you a chance to learn about Polynesian cultures and traditions, sample foods, and participate in what is said to be the best Luau on Oahu. It's over an hour's drive from Honolulu, through the mountains. Beautiful scenery. The park is well organized and it should be; tickets for entrance at various levels... More

Polynesian Cultural Center is a history lesson on Polynesian culture. Very well presented by university students. The facility is beautiful and clean. Lots of hands on to make the experience interesting for all ages.
