We stayed at the Marriott Ko Olina timeshare. This area of Oahu is gorgeous. As of now, there are 4 large resorts with each having a lagoon outside their location. There is the Fairmont, Disney Aulani, Beachfront Villas and the Marriott. There is also a public area and beach area access. I took morning walks everyday. Beautiful scenery and sunsets.... More

We were here for our last day in Oahu. The lagoons are gorgeous. We enjoyed our time swimming and sunning here.

I visited my best friend who had just moved to Oahu (her husband is in the military) and she hadn't been able to see the Island herself at that point because they had such a disaster moving their possessions and lives from Florida. The entire trip we got to experience everything together (which made it mean the world to us... More

I swam in the first two lagoons. Lagoon #2 had the greatest amount of fish. There is easy entry into each the lagoon. The snorkeling was great!

We've been coming to Ko Olina for the past 15yrs every Easter. We have a timeshare with the Marriott and since then, we simply fell in love with the place. The lagoon is gorgeous, serene, and breathtaking views on certain days. The sunset is superb! See pix I posted. One of the most gorgeous sunset pix ever! Due to its... More

It is disappointing as the big resorts here continue to dominate and limit access to these lagoons. 10 years ago these were a wonderful place to stroll and enjoy the views and sunsets! Now with Disney and the Four Seasons who are restricting local access and parking it is more a crowded tourist trap than ever. Good news is Oahu... More

Please don't go here, so that it always remains my family secret...just kidding. Great beaches for kiddies, free parking, very clean. No annoying ABC marts or shops nearby so just bring your own snacks with you. But take all your trash home or dispose of it properly. Saw two turtles in the water while swimming here. Good waves for the... More

Ko'Olina means 'place of joy'. That is what the lagoons are for me when I frequent there for walking, swimming, and just plain chillaxin'! Water is so refreshing cool, my natural flotation therapy!!!

Do not missed this if you are in the island. It is a different side of Oahu. Something you will not see anywhere else in Oahu. Its beautiful and world class area. Very well maintained. Family oriented place. 5 Star to me.
