Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I January 2012 we decided to go on a Catamaran snorkel trip from the Ko'Olina Marina. It was an early tour, they had coffee and breakfast snacks while you wait to board. Once we boarded the Catamaran, we met the crew and Captain Todd. The crew was great, but Todd really made the adventure worth while! Alcohol was available for purchase right away, there is nothing more fun than enjoying a cold one on the open sea. We listened to great music, enjoyed our beverages and soon we were at the first snorkel stop. We snorkeled, saw many beautiful fish and sea turtles and then re-boarded the catamaran. We sailed to another location and snorkeled again. The tour included a lunch, we did not expect the deliciousness that was set before us....chicken or kalua pork, chips and fruit. It was delicious! We had such a wonderful time, we came back a few more times with family visiting. I lived in hawaii for 5 years, and this was my favorite tour ever!

We recently discovered this marina for launching our boat. Everyone we spoke with was friendly & helpful as they guided us through the process of registering our truck, boat & trailer so we can sign up & use their facilities. Easy access, great ramp & hose off areas (bring your own hose)

If you are planning to boat in and out of Oahu, I imagine this is worth visiting. However, there really isn't much there: Nice marina with tightly packed boats, lots of parking, and a nearby lagoon beach for hanging out and tanning. Otherwise, we didn't see much there.

If you are staying in one of the Ko Olina resorts this marina is right next door. It is small and easy to get around. It is well-maintained. There a few companies here that offer different day excursions. You can get here from the Ko Olina resorts by taking the free resort shuttle. It will pick you up at your resort and drop you off right in the heart of the marina. Enjoy a day on the water!

This was one of my very favorite excursions ever! The captain threw some fish food in by me when I got into the water & it felt like a swarm of color surrounding me. Way cool!

This was one of the most awesome crises I have been on. A big thanks goes out to captain Jim and crew for the awesome day. That was the closest I have ever been to a whale before. Check out the video once I have it posted I will tell you. Everything was great and the crew were very friendly and funny. Big thanks again.

Snorkeling and sunset sails! Book in advance if possible to get the best times for snorkeling, which is the morning. There is a lagoon near by for your own snorkel adventure and picnic. The resorts of KoOlina are the best on the island!

Did the catamaran experience. Matt the guide was excellent but unfortunately I got sea sick and was crook coming back and we didn't see any dolphins. However I saw lots of tropical fish and my son and husband enjoyed the lunch on board and the ukulele player was very good

Our snorkeling trip was unbelievable. It turned out that no one had been snorkeling before so the staff had a challenge but they were up to it. They were especially patient with my friend who does not swim and was hesitant about trying but really wanted to - and she did! We saw turtles first. The spinning dolphins were awesome and our captain put us out where we could watch a group of them swim so close that I could almost touch them. I did get sunburn because I was so engrossed in what we were doing that I failed to reapply it. I was not sure I could handle an underwater camera since I'd never snorkeled before, but next time I'll have one. Truly the time could not have been any better!
