Fun Times at the Chief Luau
It was a fun experience… The Chief still got it! We had a blast and the food was delicious. We've been to two other luaus and this one have the best Kalua Pork! I also love the fact that we get to take photos with the performers after the show. Thanks for the great experience!

Luau Experience with a dash of Comedy!
Awesome show! Chief Sielu (who is a real Samoan Chief) has a great sense of humor. The environment was welcoming and the food was tasty. Parking at the venue is $10 cash or card and you can pay to be picked up at one of a few locations by a bus. It is about 45-60 min from Waikiki. We had the Royal package by default…we booked the reservation late and it was either the very front or the very back. It was pricey but it ensured our view was unobstructed plus 3 drink tickets. It also meant that we ate first. Overall a fun time and learning experience about Polynesian culture.

Chief's Luau is the one to pick!
Chief's Luau on Oahu is fabulous. There was a live band, amazing hula dancers, and performers with fire sticks. Their performances were perfection. The buffet meal was delicious. We received beautiful flower leis, 3 drink tickets, complimentary t-shirts and premium seating which cost a bit extra but definitely worth the price. There are many luaus to choose from on Oahu but this is the one to visit. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Chief's Luau for an unforgettable experience !

    A MUST SEE!!! So entertaining!!
My daughter and I attended Chief’s Luau tonight and it was amazing!! Chief is so funny and entertaining. This staff was so talented and a joy to watch. We laughed the whole time and would definitely visit again. This was our curate time in Hawaii, so it was great to see more of the culture. DEFINITELY spend the money for the Royal Package.

    Great Luau experience!
Really appreciated the authenticity of this Luau! The Chief told his story, about his life, about the ways of his people, and even took the time to emphasize how we are all the same people, love and unity for us all. Highly recommend this Luau, my favorite thing I done in Hawaii!

Food was pre-made in a catering style versus a traditional buffet I’ve experienced before. Lots of flies around the food. Desert was horrible but the entertainment was decent they try to push you to buy their photos it we got their at 5:40pm it was over at 7;50 one hour to eat and one hour show is not worth the price they advertise

It was very intimate and personal. Felt you were close to the action. Food was nice. Not anyone’s fault but weather could have been better. Expensive for experience.

The show was very good, food could have been better, not impressed with the location as I expected a beach and sunset view like other ones I have been to, should have inquired prior to purchase.

We had the most wonderful time at Chiefs Luau in Oahu. The show not only featured traditional dances and displays of their culture but included a lot of jokes and funny puns since the chiefs also a comedian. It was truly family friendly, activities for everyone were available upon arrival. The staff was super friendly too, inviting people on stage and giving out prizes. Would totally recommend it

Our first luau and it was truly amazing. Constant entertainment. The dancing and fire portions were great. Kid friendly. The Wet and Wild park closes at 3, and by 4 they are all gone. The luau area is transformed. Some of the parking areas are covered, keeping cars cool. There was no parking attendant or fee when we went. The food was all you can eat and delicious. We did not want the 3 drinks which came with royal, so asked for unopened soda to take with us. Seating is assigned. Photos available. Each level gets a lei of some sort. All are nice. If you can swing the Royal package, it is definitely nice getting the front seating area. You get to learn weaving, wear face paint, and even start fire before the show.

What an amazing experience! From the moment you arrive, the authentic experience begins. The evening started with them offering tutorials on weaving, tattoos and even how to light a fire. Every person we encountered treated us as a close family member. This was not your run of the mill, here you in, dance a little, feed you and leave. They did exhibitions from each island culture, while explaining the reason behind it. The Chief was authentic, heartfelt and funny!
Thanks for a most wonderful evening and memories for a lifetime.

The concierge at the timeshare recommended this luau and she didn’t disappoint. Transportation was included which took about 20 minutes fine the Hilton Village and the host was hilarious. I purchased the two drink package and I chose a white wine and a Maiti. Food options included; pork, chicken, rice, bread, salad and noodles. I have to say the entertainment was the best part, tons of energy by the entertainers and the bar staff was very accommodating.

Hands down, our favorite experience during our visit to Oahu! Chief’s Luau was high energy, entertaining, hilarious, educational, and welcoming all wrapped into one evening. We learned about Polynesian culture, were dazzled by the dances and fire show, and laughed all night. The food was a basic buffet line, but there was plenty of it and they do a great job of moving everyone through the food line efficiently. I appreciated that food items were clearly listed as having gluten or not. We had seats in the “Royal Experience” section and it was worth it because we were up close and personal so we were able to see every detail. This is a definite must-do while visiting Oahu! We typically don’t love super touristy experiences but this didn’t feel that way at all and was something our whole family (2 adults, 3 teens) really enjoyed. 10/10 recommend!
