Beautiful blue, blue-green, and aqua waters and two islands a mile offshore. What is not to love? Very little surf ... this is a place for the kids. I was lucky enough to live here, right on the water, in the forties, back when it...More

If You have a car, take the trip to this beach! Definitely worth the time. It was not so much people, quit and lot of space!

Lanikai has spectacular natural beauty, and for many years was my favorite beach. However, unfortunately, travel books and travel companies have gotten wind of this location and have effectively ruined it for those of us who live here. Every day, buses drop off hundreds of...More

If the weather is nice (and lots of times, it’s rainy on the east side) this is the best beach on Oahu! Breathtaking views. Downside is there are no restrooms or shower facilities. If that’s important to you, go to Kailua State Beach just down...More

What an amazing spot! Sandy clean beach with calm to moderate waves. Great for families with young children. Plenty to do with lots of rental places for kayaks, surf boards, snorkel equipment, and boats. Close to town where you can rent bikes. Plenty of local...More

We went there at the beginning of October when the weather start to change, the ocean was very calm and great to swim, unfortunately I got stung by Jellyfish.

Have to agree with all the other reviews. We drove from Honolulu to this quiet little spot and found street parking behind the neighborhoods. It was a gorgeous, sunny day and my kids enjoyed splashing in the small waves while my wife and I relaxed...More

This is an absolutely breathtaking beach--very pristine and beautiful--the sand is like fine light beige powder, the calm warm water has many beautiful shades of turquoise and teal, lovely views of the (2) bird sanctuary islands--the only drawback is that parking is tough since Lanikai...More

I don't know, but is 15 min from Waikiki, by car. So, you can anjoy but public transportation is very aloha. Recomand to rent a car, the chipeast... Think at me when you'll be there!
