Steep hike but the views are well worth the short amount of effort needed to get to the pillboxes. Took an hour round trip for a group of three semi-fit individuals in our late 20s.

Loved this place! Eggs Benedict were so good. Friendly service! A bit of a wait for a table but the food made up for that.

The hike up to the pillbox was invigorating and enjoyable. The views from the pillbox were spectacular. Be sure and get there early to see the lovely sunrise.

Good easy hike with a beautiful view. This hike is not difficult and is suitable for children (even young children), families, couples, and dogs. If you can check it out at sunrise or sunset.

This is an unofficial, unmaintained "trail" as I & others mentioned. Treacherous when wet, unsuitable for casual "strollers" & folks who are not physically fit, safest with hiking footwear. As such, no fees, nor parking. I... More

I only know about the four parallel parking sots on the road near the south trailhead. We arrive early enough to get one of them as someone was pulling out. The turn over on the trail is quick so I would have waited a bit... More
