We found this beach to be very clean and no very many people around. However, the waves can get high sometimes during the day that is why if you like surfing this is the place for you, also it gets very windy here. Bring your...More

This was a highlight of hawaii. The beach here was quiet, great for snorkelling and we had a surprise visit by 5 turtles. The sand here is quite different to New Zealand.

This is a large grassy area on the edge of "downtown" Haleiwa. It is popular picnic spot, especially on weekends. There are restrooms, limited picnic tables and not a lot of shade.

Forget Waikiki and head here. Just locals and nice and quiet. Great waves and blue water. Don’t forget your chairs though

This was one of many beaches we visited on our 10 day visit. It was absolutely beautiful! The beach was easy to access, had adequate parking and very clean! There were showers to rinse afterwards and the restrooms were clean.

No cost and I saw plenty of parking. There are a couple of parking areas and there were spots in each area. If there is some kind of event going on it might be different but on a regular day, you shouldn't have a problem.
