Beautiful, wide, sandy beach. The ocean is clean, but was really rough. Parking can be little bit tricky - there is a limited amount of parking spots.
Close to the beach - showers, changing rooms, restrooms. The area is clean.

You can walk down to see the water but I wouldn't say it's "swimmable" during the Winter months, which includes February. It's "Big Wave" season during the winter months. They will have a flag up stating weather it's dangerous to enter the water. The summer months are the best time to enjoy swimming in the bay when the waters are calm. The Botanical gardens on the other side of the road are a nice visit anytime of year. February has a tendency for rain so pack an umbrella and always bring deet or bug spray. Aloha!
