We had a great time on this ship. It's very large for a snorkel boat, so it did not feel crowded at all. The crew is friendly and professional. This is an excellent choice for groups with different comfort levels in the water. They offer SNUBA (at an extra charge) for the most advanced, regular snorkeling, and large floatation boards... The experience on this trip was a blast. My wife and I loved that they had a afternoon option to go snorkeling so we didn't have to get up so early. We got to see plenty of whales doing there thing along with sea life at the Molokini Crater. The staff was the best part of the excursion, they were... More

This was planned by my wife for my birthday. We went snorkeling at Molokini on the four Winds II. From the time we checked in until the time we left, it was outstanding!! The staff were friendly and very helpful, the snorkel spot was great, and the boat was nice as well. Not only did we have tons of time... More

We had an amazing time with the Four Winds 2 snorkeling at Molokini on the afternoon of Feb. 24. Captain Dan and staff were funny and informative throughout the entire trip. To start off, the cost for an adult in the PM trip was about $45 and $53 if you wanted lunch included. We sprung for lunch and had grilled... More

We left Makena Surf at 6:15 am to get to the harbor for the cruise. Great bagels and fruit for a continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. We headed out for an hour's tour to Molokini to snorkel. Beautiful clear water. Lots of fish down below. Snorkelers need to stay away from the "shelf" that extends from Molokini so you... More

We took the four winds 2 out to Molokini on an afternoon trip. The crew was great. We saw a lot of whales on the way out. The captain was very knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about whale behavior and lifecycle. We stopped to see numerous whales, so cool! I thought the snorkeling as great. Crystal clear waters, a good variety... More

One 1 dive spot versus 2 at other providers. Website is slightly misleading, making it seem to also be a whale tour. It just happens to be whale season so you may see some whales. Was also under the impression there was a second location where you swam with turtles. Instead you only view from the boat. Staff was super... More

Aloha Danny, I'm not sure where the impression that we go to two snorkel spots came from. The Four Winds II has always only gone to one spot. We do say on the site that we make a stop for turtle viewing, which is what we do. We also give full details of both Molokini and Coral Gardens as we... More

the captain and his crew were awesome, all you had to do was ask and they were there to help. Food was good and drinks were plenty. Yes you do have to pay for extras but they tell you that upfront. The water was really rough and the captain made the decision not to go out to Molokini but to... More

It was a lot of fun snorkeling. The winds were really high the day we went but they took us to a calm area called coral gardens. We saw turtles, an octopus and lots of beautiful fish. They have a glass bottom on one side of the boat. Lifeguard on duty when people are in the water. Just beware of... More

I'm not sure if I just got super unlucky and had a run in with the unhappiest guy in Hawaii but one of the crewmen was so rude to me and several others during the trip that it left a sour taste in my mouth and almost ruined the entire trip for me. I also felt like the crew was... More

Aloha Gina, I have been trying to gather as much detail about the trip on the day you went as possible. I would very much like to talk with you and find out who the crew member was. We have a zero tolerance policy for rudeness to our passengers and would like to address this right away. This is very... More
