Maui Tropical Plantation is a 60 acre working plantation. Our narrated TRAM TOUR offers a unique educational opportunity to learn the origins and harvest techniques of Hawaii's commercial fruit crops. As part of your tour, our driver will demonstrate the art of husking a coconut. You'll also learn interesting facts about sugarcane, pineapple, bananas, coffee, macadamia nuts, papaya and more. I think this tour would suit all ages.. it’s informative but also fun. The kids loved going around on the tram and having the zip lines there too made it a great day!

IT was a very informational tour. Learned many new things about the island and its plants that i ever thought I wanted to know. Our guide was fun and amazing. Would definitely recommend this tour!

This attraction is worth a visit if you are coming from South or West Maui on your way to Hana, Haleakala or Kahalui. There is lots of parking. There is a paid tram tour, but you can enter and walk the grounds for free. The...More

Very informative. Enjoyed riding through the plantation on the open air tram. The coconut demonstration was very informative! A refreshing fruit cup was included at end. Very nice gift shop. Went to dinner at the Mill House restaurant there on the property and highly recommend
