I just recently became a member to the MOC and really had a good time! I was slightly disappointed that the fish exhibit tanks did not have ID photo cards for each fish in the exhibit but that was the only negative aspect of the...More

Was here 4 years ago. The place is larger now with more things to see. The shark exhibit was kids favorite.

Just a great visit for beautiful viewing and education. A must see before snorkeling to help make the experience more impressive.

We stopped here for about an hour and a half. Their employees were extremely knowledgable and friendly. Their displays were full of Hawaiian fish.

Just visited for the second time and the attraction is rather run down. Not as many colorful fish, ragged carpets, scuffed paint...that sort of thing. It is still interesting but not worth the admission charge. Save your money and just go snorkeling.

We've seen a lot of aquaria, and this is one of the good ones. The educational focus of the center is apparent and its quality is obvious. It's a large one and very well maintained, which is not always the case. There was a large...More

As a marine biologist based out of Hawai'i Island, I was very impressed with the quality and educational focus of Maui Ocean Center. Elyssa and the other underwater naturalists did a great job explaining facts and vulnerabilities of our reefs, and achievable action guests can...More

My kids are 5 & 7. They totally enjoyed this aquarium. I love it’s small intimate setting and everyone was very friendly.

I can generally take or leave aquariums - but my husband LOVES them - so we've been to the one in Cape Town, Vancouver, and now Maui.. What makes this one brilliant is its attention to telling the local, cultural story of the interaction between...More

I checked with my 15 year old daughter who enthusiastically said yes. The only ones I remembered were the ones they were raising that we saw in the behind the scenes tour. Enjoy!

3 hours is plenty. But if course it all depends on the kids attraction to the exhibitions.
