The earphones were comfortable and clear. The walk through tunnel was neat. However, we thought there would be a better variety of fish/animals. I understand the reasoning behind not having certain animals, but it just seemed like a large aquarium.

We also booked the behind the scenes trip with our tickets for the day and that was a real experience. Our guides were exceptional in sharing insights as to how the Ocean Center worked, its goals and how they achieved the goals. It was fun and informative. Yes, it costs extra but for the money it was one of the... More

I absolutely love aquariums and have been to many over the past few years. This one was cute and offered a very child friendly environment the way it was decorated/set up, but it was not one of my favorites. The aquarium is on the smaller side compared to most, but does have a beautiful walk through glass tunnel and few... More

Some folks told me this was disappointing, but it was not at all and a very good bargain for seniors, AAA members and Pacific Ocean Foundation members. The exhibits were very well done and the array of tropical fish in the live coral was amazing. Wish we had more time. Don't miss this when you visit.

I love aquariums and have been to quite a few. Maui Ocean Center is one of my favorites. It may not be the largest, but it is unique. It was fun experiencing what it might be like to be swallowed by a whale, and there was a local man selling lovely handmade jewelry and gift items all made from Hawaiian... More

I enjoyed this aquarium, but it is a bit on the small side and it is definitely overpriced. I understand that this is Maui, and therefore expensive, but it becomes cost prohibitive when trying to bring the whole family. There are many fun exhibits, and I always love to learn more about all the endemic species in Hawaii. There is... More

One of the best Coral exhibits I have seen. Walk through tunnel is very cool and large Rays swimming overhead. One of the largest gift shops I have seen at an Aquarium.

Pleasantly surprised by the variety of fish on display. Loved the education plaques and videos. Our friend was in from the mainland and enjoyed the bubble drink at the outside facility.

I used to scuba dive in the Red Sea and have taken several thousand underwater photos of tropical fish, corals and other plant life. This was the nearest I've seen to the variety of brilliant colours without getting completely wet. It is really worth the entrance fee
