We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed in Paia for a week and visited here almost every single morning. Sunrise was the most beautiful time of day to stop by, but the Stupa itself wasn't open until about 9 am. On the days I went back a little later on, I was able to walk around the giant prayer wheel inside of the stupa. It was so grounding and calming and peaceful. One of the best experiences of my whole week! I will definitely visit again every time I'm on the island.

Definitely worth a visit, but if you know Paia, parking is very limited, so maybe you should meditate before coming to get the full benefit. :-)

I wish I could provide more information. Due to lack of time I only had the opportunity to walk the grounds for a few minutes and note that there appears to be a silent retreat center there. The stupa there is stupendous (pardon the pun), with beautifully painted murals inside and the prayer wheel is larger than most people. As you spin it slowly it will strike a chime on every pass where the millions of written prayers inside are said to be released to the universe. Don't miss this - even if you only have 10 minutes, it is worth it.

What a lovely shrine - walk around it on the outside then step inside and walk the bell around to ring it. Chant your mantra. This stupa was blessed by HH, The Dalai Lama, in 2007.

If you're in Pa'ia, it's a nice place to stop and relax for a few minutes (or get out of the rain). The explanation of what it is leaves a bit to be desired.

It's a nice place to stop and meditate and maybe take some photos. Right on Baldwin in Paia next to a parking lot.

The store has beautiful items, all hand-made by local artisans.
It is a great place to browse and admire the artistry. Of course, not all items may appeal to everyone, but there are many truly unique crafts.
Many of the pieces are large, so souvenirs or gifts could mean shipping costs. Not sure if the store provides packaging and shipping.

Stop in, follow the instructions and be respectful. Wasn't expecting to find this in a parking lot!
Take a few minutes, say a prayer, help spread peace.

This is an interesting religious monument on Baldwin Avenue and walking in to turn the wheel inside is interesting. There is no pressure to donate money. This is located a 3 minute walk up from the intersection of Hana Hwy and Baldwin Ave.
