Jacob was amazing! Because it was overcast, he made sure he got us to a spot below the cloudy mist to make sure we saw what we came for! He knew the history of the places surrounding us and made the experience all the more...More

Jacob, our driver and tour guide, was awesome. Very intelligent and knowledgeable speaker and very quick-witted too. The whole thing was just so professional. I know they do this every day, but I'm continually surprised at how often companies like this still screw things up....More

We chose this company because we didn't want a guided tour down the mountain. We wanted to go at our own pace. (this might not sound like a big difference, but believe me it is a huge difference) They will give you some information about...More

I read the reviews about this business and had worried a little about what we might find when we went there. My worries were all for nothing. We signed up for the Express trip ($65 each) and enjoyed it immensely. The driver asked why we...More

Easily the highlight of our visit to Maui and worth the effort and early start (2am to travel to the meeting spot, then another 1.5 hr to the top of the volcano). Remi the host was entertaining on the trip up also. Ride down was...More

Yes, it's a ridiculously early start- 3.15 in Paia, but sunrise over the crater was well worth it. Dress warm as it's pretty cold in the early morning, but be able to shed layers on your way down. The bikes were well maintained and our...More

First of all, I want to thank Jacob, our guide. He was awesome!! He knew a ton about the island and Haleakala itself. He was also full of great jokes to make the long drive up the mountain go by quickly. I highly recommend doing...More

We had a great time! The guides were great. The weather was perfect. I felt the bikes and gear were all very safe. I was very thankful they provided wind suits and especially gloves! The unguided tour was the best option. We stopped at a...More

If not doing sunrise, but meeting shuttle at 9 am, I assume we will begin our ride about 11:00. How cold will that be - how warmly should we dress- if highs down below mid 70s?

It really depends what time of the year, but generally shorts are fine, closed toe shoes and a sweater or sweatshirt should be fine in addition to the rain/wind gear we provide. Hope this helps! Aloha, MSBC
