Parking is easy and plenty of room for picnic too. Very fun beach and bring your snorkel gear to explore the outstanding scenery under the surface. Don't tempt fate --- SPF 30 or higher.

This park is a good size family type park, large grass area with shade available and some play equipment for 3-8 year olds. The best thing for the young children is the beach area, a protective reef about 8 feet out from shore, protects small...More

Honokowai Beach Park is the first beach we visit every time we go to Maui. It is quiet, generally uncrowded and peaceful with amazing views across the channel to Lanai and Molokai. The park has a play structure, picnic tables and a large, open grassy...More

After going 100 mph for a week, we needed a day off to unwind. This park was perfect as it provided beach, grass, shade, bathrooms and peace and quiet--and on Memorial Day weekend, as well.

The parking is limited and the beach is large rocks. This is not a beach day, this is a snorkelling day. It is a gentle walk to the water from the limited parking area. The toilets are porta potties. You are there for the SNORKELLING!...More

This is a great beach for the families with young kids. The most inner section of the beach is shallow and calm, very suitable for young kids to play. Beyond the inner section, there is also an outer pool, which is great for snorkel, tons...More

Lots of big turtles that sometimes sun them selves on the rocks, sometimes the beach can be hard to walk on from the debris. There is a nice walking/biking trail along the beach. Hard to make a left hand turn out of the parking lot...More

This beach is good for picnics but that's about it. It definitely needs some TLC. It seems like a popular place but it's not kept up with very well.

I really wasn’t paying attention as I walked by the small park. It’s dog friendly. It is hard to bring your dog to Hawaii though. I’m assuming they were locals.
