If you like straight, long beaches, then Kaanapali beach is good. If you like smaller horse shoe shaped beaches with great snorkeling and body surfing, then this is it.. Parking is a challenge, but this beach is not to be missed

Unfortunately we witnessed a man drown here yesterday. The water may look calm but the currents can be very strong and waves rough. Do not go swimming/snorkeling here unless you are a strong & experienced OCEAN swimmer.
Beautiful clean beach and water.
This is a lovely spot and easy access to the Gazebo restaurant which serves amazing breakfasts. ( be aware though the wait is usually 20 -30 min.) Good snorkeling and lots of turtles. Biggest issue for tourists is parking and even finding the public access....More
