Not much signage, just a little sign that says blow hole. We did not walk down to the actual blow hole but it could be seen from above. Not many people there because it is kind of off the beaten path.

We decided not to walk down the steep path to the actual blowhole and were content to watch the fun from above. Great views and pictures without the risk.

Very windy the day we were there. A steep walk down to the blow hole area. Very fun to watch but be smart. This is not a water park. This can be dangerous but I would say it is a must see. You just need to treat nature with respect. Like the old saying goes don't turn you back on... More

My husband did the quick walk down in around 3 minutes. He walked quickly got a few shots of the blow hole and quickly walked back. The Blow hole is very large if the tide is coming in. It's a very cool experience just follow the rules so no one gets hurt.

I've been here twice and it is a little hard to find. If you get Maui Revealed, there are some pretty good instructions. Coming from the west side, we stopped at the first potential mile marker - and could have gotten much closer by going another .5 miles. But it was a nice hike - there is a very safe... More

Our group age range was 15-60. The 60 year old is in great shape and made it in flip flops, although a better shoe would be ideal. I did it in Keens and the 15 year old was in Chacos. It's not far and we went in the late afternoon just before sunset so it wasn't blaring sun and heat.... More

I love the desolate terrain here. I am a master hiker and outdoorsman and always wear the proper hiking footwear and attire, so I am comfortable on any trail as well as making my own trail. This is a place where you will need to blaze your own trail. leave your flip flops and casual shoes at home. Gear up... More

For us this was a must see. It was not an easy, per say walk, down to the blow hole, but if you can climb rocks I recommend making this trail a must. I feels like a whole different planet down there. Lava rock formation is outstanding. The views are spectacular. Stay away from the blow hole as there is... More

This hike is a little difficult due to the sharp lava and lack of an actual trail (don't wear flip flops!) but it is so cool! As you walk through it seems like you've gone to another planet, the rock formations are pretty awesome. Go all the way through for the most superb view of the Blow Hole.
