We took in this hike on a slightly cloudy day and were treated to a decent family walk with some outstanding lava rock formations. Unfortunately the tide was too low so the blow hole was not active but we enjoyed the hike and the tour....More

The trail here is amazing and the views outstanding. Best to park at mile market 38.5 (just past this official trailhead). There is no trail - just head down the hill. Its a tough climb down and harder up, but the views are worth it....More

we drove up the cost to the 38 mile marker to see the blow hole in action. Waves were large the day we visited as the blow hole was really shooting water high into the air. The coastline is beautiful with many vista points. Note:...More

A wonderful place to visit. It is a short walk down a rocky trail to see both the unusual rocks scape and the blowhole. Well worth walking all the way down to! Not a good idea in flip flops!

Made the drive up along the North shores of Maui. The coastline is beautiful with many vista points along the way. One of our stops was at Nakalele Point on the northern shores of Maui (at Mile Marker 38). The Point is known the Nakalele...More

Did this stop. Julia's banana bread is set up here. Well worth the $9 price tag. Uneven trail so wear good shoes. The blow Hole is at mile marker 38.5 also worth a trip.

The drive north along the coast to the Nakalele Blowhole, Olivine pools, surrounding hikes and vista views is nice if you have time. The blowhole can be very impressive or so-so, depending on the ocean waves that feed it. Conditions weren't good for us to...More

My partner forced me and my kids to go on this hike and I'm really happy he did. I was nervous reading the reviews as my children are not avid outdoorsy type and I didn't think we had the right shoes. One of my children...More

When we saw this in 2-18 it was a strong surf day, so really saw some great action. Coming from Florida, this was a new sight for me, so pretty dynamic and exciting.... I wouldn't walk down to it though, and felt like the view...More

No, you can't. Buses stop in Napili. It's still a bit of a drive from there. Walking is definitely not a good idea either. The road becomes narrow and windy and people drive way too fast on it. Too far to walk to anyway... More
