A two-mile walk along Maui's northwest coast, the trail begins and ends on a beach. In between, you'll see spactacular oceanfront and bountiful greenery on the dramatic coastline.

Walked the Kapalua Coastal Trail as a change from walking the boardwalk between the Westin Villas and Whalers Village. First - park at The Ritz - it's too confusing to find the trail from the park, there's no signs or markers there and you won't...More

A beautiful hike. We went from Flemming beach on the North end to Kapalua beach on the south, about 1.75 miles. Beautiful scenery on an easy trail. Had everything from beach to lava surfaces. Be sure to take the Dragon's tooth trail out to Makaluapana...More

Saw an entire turtle family off in the clear waters just South of the Dragons Teeth ... there the trail is not fully accessible (not flat or paved). Other than that great scenery and natural beauty.

Beautiful - well worth a visit. As in most places in Maui you park in a golf/resort area and can head into multiple entrances. After walking a bit we spotted some turtles from a cliff and watched them splash away.

Walked the entire length of this trail. Most of it overlooks the beach, with great views of the surf crashing into and over a rocky coast. Some connections take you on city streets and sidewalks but not too bad.

Nice drive through the winding roads.... Drive slow and enjoy the view. The blow hole is worth the drive.

Sneakers should be fine. The first part of the trail is suitable for all ages. There are some moderate hills if you venture out a little further.
