A two-mile walk along Maui's northwest coast, the trail begins and ends on a beach. In between, you'll see spactacular oceanfront and bountiful greenery on the dramatic coastline.

This is a beautiful walking/hiking trail. Most of it is paved, but there are parts that are not. You can even climb on some of the cliffs, and get great views of turtles swimming in the coves.

Do not miss this trail while at Maui. Breathtaking views of the ocean and the coastline and not to forget turtles! It is an easy walk, try going early in the day to avoid the heat.

This is a great spot to go for a walk/hike and get a feel for the Maui coastline. A great place to start is at DT Fleming Beach.

This is a beautiful, coastal nature hike with absolutely gorgeous vistas! Early in the walk as you cross the bridge, climb down the rocks to the mini inlet to watch sea turtles frolicking in the waves! Continue along the marked trail and you'll end up...More

This was a fairly easy hike. You'll reach the end because you're constantly stopping for Kodak moments. Beautiful trail along the ocean. Wear closed shoes. Not flip flops.

The Kapalua Coastal trail starts at Kapalua Bay. It goes behind beautiful resorts with manicured landscaping, through a protected bird breeding area, around a very rugged coastline, and along a gorgeous sandy beach where we saw a couple getting married. This trail is fun to...More

This trail was beautiful. Found a place to jump off a cliff into the water. Had trouble finding a place to park to access it.

Sneakers should be fine. The first part of the trail is suitable for all ages. There are some moderate hills if you venture out a little further.

Previous answers provide good guidance. I can only add that my wife had total knee replacement last September which healed perfectly. While there in March, she was actually more agile--and less concerned--walking the trail... More
