Well put together information about history of the town. Something worth checking out while in the town.

It was fascinating to read about all the history surrounding the town of Lahaina and the whaling ships.

We took our son and his girlfriend to visit the courthouse in Lahaina, so they could see the history of Lahaina and whaling. It is great that a place like this exists to show what life was like back then.

You don't go to see the courthouse - you go to see Lahaina and take in the courthouse and the battlements laid down by early western sailors. It is interesting - but you go to the actual courthouse for the pictures of early days and then wander around under the Banyon Tree out front.

Enjoyed learning local history. The story about the flag was interesting. Art museum in the basement jail is neat!

There is a museum in the old Courthouse - gift shop and art gallery. The Courthouse is on the same block as the Banyon Tree. A must to enjoy - weekends they feature local artists and musicians. The remains of an old fort are also on the grounds. Walk around and read about the history. Enjoy the harbor just across... More

It was wonderful to see a piece of history preserved for everyone to enjoy. We were lucky to find this by mistake!

It was kind of cool to see something this old still standing. It really doesn't look like much except a pile of blocks.
