Great mall at a great location but seems like there's no life there.

Hula shows on the weekend to live up the place but on the weekdays, pretty dismal. Even the ABC store is quiet and neat. They need shuttles to bus in the tourist dollards needed... read more

Actually just stopped to get a coffee after a little road trip. Hula show always good for us international visitors. Older complex with lots of empty/closed shops. Did have a decent grocery store which was good.

Big liars with posting about their activities on Cannery mall website as well as banners hanging outside for Hula shows... they had advertised a magic show between 12-1pm and hula show between 1-2 pm on December 31, 2016. Nobody even showed up. Come on... stop advertising and stop wasting time of there

Our trip up the West Coast of Maui on Hwy. 30 was rained out north of Lahania, but on the way back I saw the Free Hula Saturday & Sunday at 1 PM sign along the road at the Lahania Cannery Mall. We arrived with enough time to get coffee and get good seats in the center of the mall.... More

Many many shops are closed and very small crowd. Used to be more vibrant but now looks like it is just holding on.

Hula shows on the weekend to live up the place but on the weekdays, pretty dismal. Even the ABC store is quiet and neat. They need shuttles to bus in the tourist dollards needed to keep this mal afloat. Nice Safeway store on one side and Long's Drugs on the other. Starbucks seems to have some business but not what... I am surprised the hula show is still here due to the decline of the mall. We had heard that it had been sold and was going to be torn down but that was a few years ago and it is still here. Only a handful of shops still open. Love the Banana Wind shop, they have another one in... More

Going downhill. Quiet, shops closed and empty, no one in the food court. They still offer the free hula show on the weekend and maybe that brings more people. Didn't go back to find out.

1pm every Saturday and Sunday there is a free Hula show. The one we saw was a troop of school children and they were wonderful. Aged between about 5yrs and 15 yrs with their teachers. Both boys and girls. They were really professional and engaged with the public. They did ask for some to go up on the stage and... More

It's a mall...ABC Store, clothing stores and souvenir stores for the most part. Visited on a Monday and there was hardly anyone walking around. Very clean though and a variety of fast food types of eateries to enjoy.

Why taking my nephew to look for some batteries for his under water camera, I walked into a store and to my surprise, wow! I found the Magnum PI shirt I had been looking for.
