Located Front Street a great place to see history. In the cookhouse they Edison movies from the late 1800's showing this area and what was being accomplished from sugar cane, picnics, cattle and mirey Treasures are all over this very nice place.

We really enjoyed this museum. Very interesting presentation of the history of Chinese immigrants to Maui. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

We were there during a special kite festival, so may not have gotten a real taste of the museum itself. Pretty interesting old house and the story behind it's transformation through the years was neat.

Small museum with many artifacts and a gift shop. The old cook house is used to show films made by Edison that were interesting to watch.

The two women who are guides are incredibly knowledgable about the history of the Chinese in Maui. The museum is small but full of wonderful antiques and treasures. Outside is the original cook house full of all the objects from the time. These are fascinating...More
