The Whalers Village is not really a museum but more of a shopping mall. It has areas of facts regarding whales that is informational but it is not a formal museum. It is a nice place for kids to be distracted while parents shop. It was very clean and has a ton of great places for souvenirs.

This is an outdoor mall. There is no museum. I was disappointed I was hoping to learn something about the area.

Lots of high end and local merchants gathered at Whalers Village where there's also a museum. They often showcase events including free hula dances which are fun to watch. Hint: get free or reduced parking coupons in the tourist magazines.

Still under construction but looks like the update is going to be nice. Shops range from an ABC Store to high end shops It is a nice stop if you are doing a leisure walk on the beach trail

Wow, we were here in January 2016 and thought the construction would be completed on our November trip. Talked to some shop keepers and they said not until next December 2017. Not sure why it takes 4 years to do a remodel??? Many of the shops had to move out but it is still open with plenty of shops. They... More

The shopping area is currently under construction, but there are still many shops open and a good little ABC store to grab a snack or quick souvenir.

The shopping center is under construction and noisy. This affects the museum area as well as many stores.

High low and between priced merchandise. $150 board shorts at Billabong and a few stores away you have ABC with a $5 bag of nuts.

A good variety of stores and restaurants. You'll find anything from Swarovski to ABC stores. Plus a food court. For all tastes and budgets.
