Really enjoyed the luau. The food was outstanding, and way more than I could eat. All alcoholic and non-alcoholic all you can drink included. Excellent show. They put on a good show from arrival to departure. 3 hours total includes dinner and show

Great experience. I read this is the most traditional luau on the island. For example they don't have fire dancers because that is not Hawaiian--it's Samoan. The first part is settling in and walking around. They have a people in different areas talking about different...More

We have been to other luaus and this is by far the best one we have ever been to. Great variety of food and excellent entertainment! Our server, Reecy, was the best!

The setting is very beautiful and romantic. Located in Lahaini with a view of the Pacific and the warm trade winds and beautiful sunset to serenade you. The thatched huts, tiki torches and beautiful servers dressed in traditional outfits sets the mood for what is...More

The dinner was amazing and offered a lot of food that I have never tried before and was delighted to be introduced to. You get your choice of a cocktail or a fancy non alcoholic juice when you arrive accompanied by a lei placed around...More

We are vacationing with our Mom's on Maui. It's my husband's Mom's first time ever to Hawaii so we had to do a Luau. Booked this one a few months ago as read it was one of the best and we weren't disappointed. You're greeted...More

This is the third time we have gone to Old Lahaina Luau. The show is wonderful with Hawaiian dancing and music. Before the show they have carvers, crafts people, and photographers to visit while you have cocktails. We made reservations about a month before our...More

We were nervous going to a luau, as my husband did not want to be one of unsuspecting males pulled up to learn to hula. The Old Lahaina Luau does not do that. The setting on the water at sunset was very nice. The show...More

We made a reservation 3 months ahead of our South Pacific Cruise, otherwise it was impossible to see this Hawaiian Show on the beach. We met a great couple from Germany on boarding cruise ship and they wanted come with us but unfortunately every single...More

Not a bad seat in the house. Very good food, fast and efficient buffet lines. Quality entertainment and just enough free time to enjoy the crafts and views. Don't let the "storefront" view deter you as once inside it's another world.

We will be on board the NCL ship; arriving on a Sunday evening for two days so figure the luau on the first night. This is the first week of July so aways out there. Question is on transportation availability from/to our ship - in Kahului.

Forgot to mention, if you have a second night, make reservations for Mama's Fish House in Paia, about a 15 or so minute drive from Kahalui. It's the #1 seafood restaurant in the islands and is our "must eat treat" when... More

I would say dressy casual. I wore a maxi dress and sandals and my husband wore a golf polo and shorts. I probably wouldn't go as casual as a graphic tshirt or jeans. Hope that helps!
When I go to make reservations online it asks for my arrival date and lodging location. How important is this information? Also, is there a discount for military veterans?

As long as you arrive early to begin enjoying the pre fun, where you stay and such is not important. I do not recall a military discount. Have fun but get a seat with a back.
