At Wailele Polynesian Luau dinner show, guests will embark on an exciting journey to the Polynesian Islands where dance was considered not just as a form of entertainment, but as a means of telling stories. Recognized for providing an award-winning experience, the luau is held oceanfront at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa and features dances and songs from old and modern Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand (Maori), Tonga and Samoa. Highlights include the story of Pele (Goddess of Fire), Hi'ilave Hula Awana dedicated to Wailele (meaning waterfalls) and Maui's most extreme fire knife dance finale called "Siva Afi". The unforgettable evening of fun, culture and entertainment is complemented by a traditional dinner served buffer style and selection of beverages.

Good Luau for last minute!

I failed to plan ahead and thought we weren't going to be able to attend a luau on our honeymoon. We waited in line a long time and finally got it! Drinks were plentiful and good... read more

$130 dollar preferred seating gets you watered down drinks, terrible service, cheap shell necklace (not a flower lei, they cost $10)' processed chicken parts that have pre-burned grill marks, and terrible tasteless white fish. There is a real small stage that only fits 4 dancers. They switch men and women that change the dances just a little. The fire twirler... More

I loved this Luau, especially since it was located in the Westin Maui Resort and Spa, which happened to be where I was staying. The food is buffet style, you can select anything you want on the menu. There is an open bar, so you have a selection of mixed drinks, champagne, or beer. I loved the show itself, the... More

At the Westin hotel, no bad seat in the luau. Great food, entertainment and open bar. Photo taken with one of the performers you can purchase, and some vendors there.

The best luau was the Wailele Luau offered by the Westin Maui. Cocktails were offered throughout the evening. Pictures with the featured dancer was great! Lots of unique trinkets to purchase at reasonable prices. Preferred seating for only a little extra money. This luau featured a buffet which offered Hawaiian entrees; quite delicious except poi. The show was terrific and... More

We throughly enjoyed ourselves at this luau. I was surprised to read skooterlee's review, but being our first one, we didn't have anything to compare it to. The MC was very funny to us and the dancers were enjoyable to watch. Food was good but I agree that the whole thing about the pig was absent. I liked the fact... More

We went to this Luau our first full day in Maui for our friends birthday(and mine too). But on his actual day..It was so good and the main guy was hilarious. Highly recommend this one, and the food was really good.

I failed to plan ahead and thought we weren't going to be able to attend a luau on our honeymoon. We waited in line a long time and finally got it! Drinks were plentiful and good (and included in the price) We didn't pay for the premium seats so we were in the back. We still had a good view... More

We've been to many luaus, and this one is HORRIBLE!! If you don't buy the "premium seat" you will sit in the last row. The stage is very small and only has 4 dancers at a time. The dancers literally dance for 3-4 minutes and then rush off stage to change costumes and rush back to dance for a minute... More

We recently stayed at the Westin and splurged for the luau on the property. The buffet was excellent, they had lots of great island cocktails, and the highlight was the fire dancers at the end!

My sister and I paid the little bit extra to get the best seats and ended up front row, center. Wow, what a view! The host was really, really funny, and the entire show was great! The food was quite good and there was a large dessert table as well. This was the second luau we have attended and turned... More
