At Wailele Polynesian Luau dinner show, guests will embark on an exciting journey to the Polynesian Islands where dance was considered not just as a form of entertainment, but as a means of telling stories. Recognized for providing an award-winning experience, the luau is held oceanfront at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa and features dances and songs from old and modern Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand (Maori), Tonga and Samoa. Highlights include the story of Pele (Goddess of Fire), Hi'ilave Hula Awana dedicated to Wailele (meaning waterfalls) and Maui's most extreme fire knife dance finale called "Siva Afi". The unforgettable evening of fun, culture and entertainment is complemented by a traditional dinner served buffer style and selection of beverages.

We really enjoyed the Weilele luau. It's right there at the Westin, which is nice because you don't have to drive off property to get there. It's a bit more affordable than the Old Lahaina, and while I have not been there, I'd say this show was top notch. The food was good, and I'm sure if I were back... More

The performances were good if you manage to get through the terrible food, terrible jokes, terrible drinks and unreasonably long waiting to be forced through a picture sales activity. High hopes and expectations not met - disappointed with this Luau and the experience at the WESTIN resort in general. They need to rethink the show pace and cadence as well... More

Lazaro's P....his/her review is a joke. Grow up loser. We just went, was funny and the food was good. Remember they are serving for 200 people. People's standards are so snobbish. Really enjoyed this show

Had a great night at this luau! They showcase a number of different hula dances, have an awesome fire show, and beautiful live music. The MC was funny and interacted with the audience. I loved his demonstration of opening a fresh coconut! Food was delicious with many, many options so there is something for everyone. Drinks were great too! The... More

I booked this luau to surprise my sister and family on Chrismas day. I was hoping for a nice Chrismas Luau experience for everyone. I can't help but compare this to the other luaus we experienced the other times we were in Maui. Overall, our experience was pretty basic, disappointing and not as much fun as we had on other... Purchased premium tickets with reserve seating that had us close to the stage, but sheltered from sun and potential sprinkles. Included leis were a special treat. Entertainers were excellent and the show included a wide variety of dances and costumes. While buffet style, we had a waiter that kept our glasses filled (water, wine, beer mixed drinks) and dirty dishes... More

We really enjoy taking our guests to this fun luau. It has the best food that we have had and the comic emcee is fantastic! The setting is awesome and romantic. This is one of our must dos when visiting!

We booked this in our resort the Westin vs traveling to another. We did not look up reviews and this was a mistake. We booked through Pleasant Holidays. 1. You receive another cheap shell lei , give a flower lei or at least a silk flower lei would have been better 2. You are offered drinks upon arrival. The cocktails... More

Family of eight including children enjoyed the experience as a family. Agreed, M.C. jokes were tired, the queuing for photographs is tedious when one is on holiday however, if you wait long enough the 'rush' will subside and, we were very pleased with the family photographs we paid $50 for in memory of this experience. The buffet was absolutely disgusting.... More
