Really enjoyed our visit here. It definitely was a lot more Interesting than expected wonderful To spend an afternoon in raw nature like this. The owners have obviously put a lot of loving care into developing this property. We were really happy to see all the nice giftware in their souvenir shop. The view of the ocean from the gazebo... This garden has been a beautiful sight on Maui for many years. The old Chinese couple who owned it and cared for it retired and sold it a couple years ago. It had gotten somewhat run down, and the new owners did not do enough to refurbish it. It now appears to be closed, or at least it was closed... More

We found nothing on the internet to indicate that the garden was closed two days after Halloween but it was. We arrived only to be told that they were getting over a Halloween event.

Opening night of the Halloween walk had a few kinks to work out but we had a great time and left with our hearts beating a bit faster than usual. The place was easy to find and it was easy to park. We had to sign a waiver at check-in but never felt unsafe. After signing, we could hear them... More

Let me get to the point...this place is a dump. It is not maintained at all. Everything is overgrown and in bad need of cleaning up, fertilizing, pruning, etc. There's this little gazebo thing that looks like it went through a nuclear holocaust. There was actually a little pile of garbage along one of the trails, and it definitely had... More

Decided to take a ride to Up Country and stopped at Enchanted Gardens. Five dollar fee for seniors to take self guided tour through gardens of native plants as well as beautiful flora. I enjoyed wondering around through the lush greenery; husband not so much. Owners has added a little humor through out gardens. Be sure to sot the immature... More

The garden is in a nice location. Unfortunately, it looks like someone stopped loving this place a long time ago! The cafe/visitor center is well kept, but once you walk twenty feet from that it is uncared for! The gardens have beautiful large specimen plants, but they grounds are overgrown and unmanaged. As a gardener and plant lover myself, I... More

Hi Rebecca S. We do apologize for the timing of your visit. We are sure that being on vacation, you may have been blissfully unaware that we have had daily rains upcountry for the last two weeks straight due to 3 hurricanes and an abundance of tropical moisture that has settled over the state. Some of rains have been torrential,... More

I went with my daughter and we both had a lot of fun. This was the first time I was able to touch a chocolate pod and experience the sensation and taste of the pulp that wraps the beans. It was the first time I experienced the process of taking roasted beans and turning them into chocolate. I found it... More

As a Maui resident, I enjoyed the garden grounds but was more excited to find their cafe menu is comprised of 95% locally grown, seasonal produce and their bakery items are handmade by specialty food artisans within the community. Great soups and sandwiches, must-do lunch stop for visitors and locals.

A beautiful oasis of plants, flowers, and trees. Small friendly coffee shop. Easy paths, easy parking. Excellent place to stop for a relaxed break during an energetic day.
