    Good beer. Good food
We had a great tour with George. He mentioned things we haven't heard on brewery tours before. For $20 it was a good time spent and included 4 tastings of their flagship beer. We stayed for lunch and more beer

Great food, great beer and great atmosphere!
I was very surprised at how large this restaurant was. It did not look this big from outside. We grabbed a table on the patio and it was beautiful outside. I was also impressed with the menu. Some breweries only have some snacks, but Maui Brewing Co had a decent menu. My husband and I started with a flight of beer so we could sample; Bikini Blonde, Coconut Hiwa, Pau Hana and Barefoot Brew. All the beers had great flavor and we couldn't pick just one. For our lunch we got the crispy french fries, MBC Nachos and the boneless bites for sharing. There was so much food (the nachos were huge) and everything tasted so delicious. I would definitely recommend enjoying any one of their restaurants.

    Great brewery and tour
Nice, big place to catch a beer and some food. They have a large outside area with corn hole, picnic benches, umbrellas, tables and chairs. It is broken up into a patio up top and a lower 'lawn' are for people to hang out. The brewery is in an industrial park, so don't be thrown off that your GPS sent you in the wrong direction. It's easy to find, but may make you second guess the location. If you're there on the weekend check their website for the Brewery Tour. George did a great job and it was neat to hear about the process. Even more of a bonus, Maui Brewing has some really great sustainability programs in place. Cheers!

    George made this tour fun
Had a nice day visiting the brewery..was able to have an appetizer before we went on our brewery tour. George did an amazing job showing us all aspects of the processes that go into making their products. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. We were the first full tour after the devastating Lahina fire. They need us to come back and enjoy their beautiful island…there is so much to enjoy.

    Great HH place!
We visited MBC Kihei with another couple. The four of us enjoyed pupus and drinks one lovely afternoon. The restaurant uses a QR code system to order drinks and food. The code is on your table and you need only note the table number to ensure quick delivery of your order. We went on logo Wednesday; you wear anything (tshirt, hat) with MBC logo and you get $2 off your drinks all day! Good day to go. We did have some initial difficulty getting the logo discount set up on our iPhone and Tess helped us straight-away to get it set up correctly. She was very helpful and made sure the whole process was a smooth one. If she’s not working, always look for someone working who’s wearing a “red shirt” as these are the ones who have the authority to correct a. Errors on your bill. We will definitely return. Pizza is a good option during happy hour, as it’s half-price. Lastly, we were treated to live music that afternoon, sounded great!

    Cool place
Large fun restaurant with a lively atmosphere and great beer. We enjoyed the live music and ease of ordering via phone. Service was fast, to the point it felt like you were a bit rushed. Food was great!

Brewery tour was fantastic, as were the beers
Visited this brewery for a tour after being rudely denied at Ocean Vodka, and had the best experience touring the facility, while learning so much about their beer production process. Coolest thing was how this company operates with sustainability and the environment in mind and can see how it’s considered in every decision. The tour guide, George, was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Also, all of the beers were delicious and bought several packs throughout my week out in Maui.

A Maui Staple - You Must Try
This wasn’t my wife and I’s first time here but it was the first time we came with a young child (bringing our 4 year old). You don’t always assume a Brewery is family friendly but it is here! We had no issues bringing our 4 year old with us and she enjoyed the live music and the kids menu. We had a reservation which helped with our wait time and did some pre meal drinking on the front patio while waiting for our seat to be ready. I had a few different beers and hard to name them all but you’ll enjoy whatever your beer flavor profile is. The food was delicious and pro tip- go on a night where there is live music.

Beer with a side of food
As a big fan of Maui Brewery, I was excited to try the one in Keihi. Great big venue for groups or just a few friends. Of course their beer is outstanding. So many choices for hop heads and sour fans. The diverse menu has something for everyone. The ranch chicken sandwich was very tasty as was the Korean BBQ chicken sandwich had so much flavor.

Arrived to a very unfriendly hostess who checked us in saying a 45 min wait for two of us. Then a party of three arrives and they were seated in 10 min. Then a group of six arrives and are seated shortly after. After waiting 30 min for a table we asked how much longer and the hostess seats us within a few minutes. It appeared they were selective of who they seated first. After being seated the unenthusiastic waiter takes the order but doesn’t deliver drinks for quite some time. Meal was very slow to arrive. Food is overpriced and strictly average. Burger was tasty though. Chicken katsu sandwich was bland. Fries were soggy. I would not go back. It’s slow service and unfriendly staff. Overpriced.

Booking beer tasting/tour online. Upon booking it allowed for children with paid adults. When we arrived for the tasting/tour the instructor did not know what to do with them. If you expected a tasting and tour like me, you will be disappointed. Although the instructor was informative and the beer was fantastic, the restaurant was horrible. Despite our pleas to reserve a table of 13 for after the tasting and tour it was left with deaf ears. We were told to wait 45 minutes only to find people seated themselves and ordered with a booth. The food was brought to you, and the waitstaff were obviously prejudiced because the treatment was second class compared to the Caucasian counterparts. I will still drink the beer, but I will not recommend the restaurant! Gave it a fair 3, deeply disappointed!

Located in a strip mall, but larger than it appears from the outside. Busy place with typical pub food, good service. It was fun tasting a flight of their local brews. Bathrooms were icky. Worth a stop to sample local beer, but it's loud and there is no view to make one want to linger.

Last Saturday we went to Maui Brewing Company and sat outside to enjoy their beer and dinners. We had just been served when it started to rain. Everyone outdoors immediately picked up their drinks and food and made their way for cover inside. The singer started yelling at all the patrons to put their masks on as they were going to give Covid to all the Hawaiians there. He was rude and made us all feel very uncomfortable. Never mind our mouths were still full of food with the move and our hands not available to place a mask on our face for the 10 seconds it took us to move. Needless to say, he was singing without a mask and as we all know that singing is the worst for spreading covid. The service overall was great, the beer great, the food good. I would suggest they have the singer do DJ work until this covid is over, that way he could wear a mask too and us patrons would feel more protected against covid.

Would give it a zero if possible. Worse than a cafeteria and taking full advantage of tourists that may be unfamiliar with what the place use to be like. Service is non existent, you're forced to line up like cattle to order your food/drinks and expected to tip for the luxury of doing everything yourself. They don't even seat you. You have to wander around looking for an empty table, claim it by putting down a large beer can which is full of reminders that you must wear your mask at all times when not seated at your table. And you will not be seated much because anything that you require you will need to do yourself. The extent of service provided is the delivery of the food to your table and there will be no follow up or asking if you received the correct meal, which one of us did not.

We're residents that made the mistake of taking our guests there last night. What a disgrace. We were given three glasses of water for a table of five and told to go get the other two ourselves. We had to find a service member to request napkins and were given TWO, again for a table of five. A request for more was met with a "we're not allowed to give out bunches of napkins" or some other nonsense.

They have cut every corner possible in the guise of covid safety (because wandering around looking for a place to sit and lining up with a group of people to order is somehow "safer" than remaining seated at a table) and now it's simply money grabbing laziness that only tourists will find acceptable on their one and only visit. Residents such as ourselves are done with the handful of restaurants that continue with this idiotic hybrid dining model.

Any positive reviews you read here are people that simply do not know they're being duped. Never, ever again.

A buddy and I took a tour of the MBC while we were on vacation. It was my first time in a Brewery of any kind and we were very impressed. On top of the fact that we are big fans of a lot of their product, we were surprised to learn that they run 100% solar, are 95% locally sourced in the restaurant and return all leftover grain to farmers for animal feed. The tour guide was informative and did a good job of promoting the product.

Ended another fun day with MBC's yummy fish tacos, calamari (extra tentacles), kale salad... and their new "sloshies" ... fruit puree and gin blend. Lilikoi was addictive! Decided to end with their home brew root beer in a float and blonde ale infused caramel skillet cookie to watch the sun go down with some live guitar. Always delish!

After a great day of snorkeling south of Kihei, our son took us to Maui Brewing. That could have something to do with my love of craft breweries I suppose, but we were also hungry.

A great idea! A huge place, indoor and outdoor seating, a variety of delicious beers, and the nachos were delicious.

It's a very new and modern facility, very airy. Outdoors in the late afternoon sun was a bit harsh, so indoors was the better option. I expect late in the day outdoors would be delightful.

Reasonable prices by Maui standards, so no complaints there.

2 enthusiastic thumbs up!

After purchasing beer from this brewery at the local Foodland, was excited to discover they have the brewery right in Kihei, so made a point to dine there one evening. Kinda off the beaten tract, weird location, but obviously geared to the locals and perhaps some new development that looks like its in the works.
After high expectations, I was really disappointed in the service/setting.......told to find an empty (clean table) seat yourself, get your own water, download one of those stupid codes on the table to see the menu (I guess everyone assumes you have a cell phone at all times these days-I don't) or get up and order your own food while standing in line to get your own beer. Someone eventually comes out with food, which was good and nice portions, but no follow up from anyone regarding "is everything ok?" "can I get you anything else"? etc. etc. Just your tab with an expected 20%+ or more tip-seriously you tip for service not "just because your supposed to tip" these days. I get the current atmosphere in light of the pandemic, but feel they need to do more for the customers, this is the only restaurant during our visit that was so far removed from their customers. As a previous review stated, it makes no sense to stand in line with everyone (not 6' apart-some with no masks) in order to get your beer, water, or order food, than to be seated at a table that's spaced apart to have that "social distancing" that is required.

We visited this place two nights running at about 6pm. On both occasions there were clearly at least 10 unoccupied tables outside. On both occasions however we were told there would be a minimum 20 minute wait to enter. We queried this and the girl in the door eventually conceded they did not have enough staff. We requested that we’d go to the bar and carry our own drinks. This was refused. This is a ludicrous way to run a bar. This in effect our local in Maui but we will not be returning.
