This beach is easily accessible from S. Kihei Road which makes toting your beach stuff a breeze. Bring your own umbrella if you want shade. The waves here are fairly mild so it's suitable for families with younger kids. The sand is soft and free of debri which lets you feel safe walking on it with your bare feet. Lovely... More

This was our family's favourite beach during our recent maui vacation. Kids loved boogie boarding in the waves. Dad and daughter loved snorkelling by the rocks where we saw lots of colourful fish and 2 medium sized green sea turtles! There is ample beach for everyone. Lifeguards are in duty, so it feels safe. I lost my prescription sun glasses... More

Great beach to chill everyday, if you are going early in the morning it is very calm and you can even see wildlife.

Just across the street from Maui Banyan. Protected beach, waves not too big. Perfect for playing in the surf. Taking a walk, or sunning on the beach.

There are 3 beaches that make up the Kamaole beaches. We were at number 2, but next time we would go to No 3 which seems a bit more secluded and had a nice area for snorkel. There are BBQs just off the beach. Sand is very fine and clean.

Beautiful, close to amenities. Great for kids, the waves usually aren't too crazy aggressive. Smooth sandy beach.

This beach has easy access and good facilities. The beach is deep enough that there is room for activities (frisbee, football, etc). The waves are are gentle so this is a good family friendly spot.

A family friendly beach that has a life guard attendant . The sand , some areas washed up by recent storms still meets all your sun worshiping needs . Water access is safe for some paddle or surf boarding .

This beach was directly across from our condo. First and foremost it serves as an exceptional place for the sunset every evening. The beach itself was great. A little crowded, but that would be it's only downfall. We were in the water for about 5 minutes and seen at least 8 turtles right up near shore. The water also stays... More

This place offers a great view of the sunset as well as easy access to the ocean. It was not overly crowded.
