This is a really great place for kids to play, either on the huge grassy area, on the beach or in the relatively sheltered waters. It's also a great place to watch sunsets. It is one of our "go to" beaches when we stay at...More

Turtles on either end of the beach with a great snorkeling area on the right. Protected by a rocked area from the winds of Kam 2, good choice for families and novice snorkelers.

We were there for the sunset and spent some time the next morning. Nice clean beach and wasn't crowded when we were there.

We've stayed nearly across the street twice now (Maui Kamaole), but this was the first time we made use of Kam III. Nice facilities/restrooms (not fancy, but serviceable), a shaded lawn for picnics, and a huge open lawn to the south. Beach is beautiful, good...More

This was a lovely beach we visited two times during our stay in Maui, primarily because it was within walking distance from our resort, and also because there were lots of beautiful fish & sea turtles in this area. Do be cautious when you're swimming/snorkeling...More

I don't know that the park has them, but you have access to public outdoor showers at the condos across the street.
