Billy and Steve did a great job. Very informative and open to questions. Turned out to be cloudy at the summit so no view of the crater. Not much we could do about since weather... read more

I did this ride about 10 years ago, and although some minor changes have occurred the ride and staff are still amazing. My wife and I did the sunrise ride, we met the staff at the pier at 3am and got situated with gear then began the 1 ride up the mountain. Once up top it was between 15-30 degrees... More

Great experience! We took the day trip this time instead of the sunrise and enjoyed it even more. You can learn and see a lot more on your trip up! The guides were informative, fun, professional, and we felt very safe and well taken care of in their hands. The biking down is exhilarating, the views are stunning. Highly recommend!

Aloha, We are glad you enjoyed your time with us, both times! Yes, the sunrise is something everyone wants to do and everyone should do, at least once. However, Maui Downhill offers other tours that everyone will enjoy. A hui hou (Until we meet again)! More

We loved this trip! We did the daytime version (started at 6.30am). We had wonderful views of the island and the other islands as well! The crater filled with cloud while we were at the top but we got great views of the inside beforehand so all good. The bike down was terrific fun! Thanks so much to Willie and... More

In short, the sunrise bike tour with Maui Downhill is just about perfect. You can rest assured that they have everything you need to make your experience comfortable and fun. They provide you with wind breaker tops and bottoms as well as gloves which you'll appreciate at the summit. Make sure to wear layers and be prepared for approximately one... More

I recommend the tour Maui Downhill. It is an early day start. Our pick up was at 2am. Don't let that bug you. The summit drive was about 90 minutes. At the top , get a spot on the railing to the right of the tourist office. Wear something that is water proof and warm. Hopefully you'll get better weather.... More

My family had so much fun!! My kids who are 12 and 13 loved it! The guides were professional and fun. I felt very safe. I was a little nervous with my kids at first but the guides made it great. Incredible experience! Exhilarating, beautiful and a must do for the adventurous type.

Billy and Steve did a great job. Very informative and open to questions. Turned out to be cloudy at the summit so no view of the crater. Not much we could do about since weather is unpredictable there. Ride down from 6500 feet elevation went smoothly. Excellent job of controlling traffic around us. One note, you only go as fast... Went with one of my daughters (12). Picked up at 2:05, which was earlier than early. Arrived at sunrise point around 4:45, which was about an hour and 15 minutes before sunrise. It's cold up there, and even though we stopped at bike shop on the way to get some warmer gear, it was still cold (about 40 degrees). Fortunately... More

Thank goodness the company had wind-proof pants and jackets/gloves for us to borrow! It dropped (as we'd been told it would) about 40 degrees from the temperature at the base to the temperature at the top of the crater! It was a lovely sunrise; we got prime spots along the railing because we were there early enough, and then the... More
