We hiked, with Hike Maui, through the forest to 3 waterfalls. It was fantastic and Pasco, our guide, absolutely rocked! I would HIGHLY recommend Hike Maui and Pasco! If you like hiking, it will be one of your favorite activities while visiting Maui!

An hour's shuttle ride from our hotel took us to the start of this beautiful and informative hike through a pristine rain forest with waterfalls and deep pools for diving into. Lunch, snacks, water and fruit off the trees rounded out the 3 hours' hike....More

Melanie, I did this as a ship excursion and the east waterfall hike began at 11:00 am and lasted 4 hrs. Since I had done the Roberts' Haleakala Sunrise Tour which had us back by 10:00 am that day, it was my only viable... More

Do you make any of the touristy stops along the road to Hana or is it more about driving to the hike and hiking?

Sorry for delay. We didn't do any stops other than the rain forest hike. Hike Maui in their van picked us up at hotel and dropped us there.
