There are much nicer beaches in the area to spend time at.....this is not the one. There’s is a picnic area if you want to sit at a table to eat and bathrooms for use. To find it you must turn off the Hana Highway

Wonderful spot. Beach was very nice. No big drop offs. Great for kids and families. Picnic area and bathrooms.

It was raining and we stopped here to eat our picnic lunch. We sat in the pavilion. It wasn't very clean. The restrooms across the road were not clean either. The view was nice!

We stopped here on our way to Ohe'o Gulch, its a nice stop, but if you don't have too much time, you can skip this and go to the next location.

Well. We took the Road to Hana and arrived at Hana Bay. It was ok. Not much of a beach. There is a park area and a restaurant there. We walked out on the pier which was falling apart. I would say the road to...More

We would have loved to have checked out more of Hilo’s secrets but we were doing a self- guided tour, so basically with only half the drive completed at Hilo at 3:00 pm we took in the viewpoint looking across to the Cruise Ship Terminal,...More
