My wife and I visited the cat sanctuary this week, while on a Linai bicycle tour. Even though we are both cat lovers, quite honestly we weren't expecting much. Boy were we mistaken. It was a wonderful experience, and the behaviour of the cats as they jostled for visitor affection was really interesting to see and experience. And if you... More

Hundreds of stray cats taken great care of and the place does not smell. The people here really love cats. They are clean, disease and critter free and if you like cats, this place is a slice of heaven.

What an amazing place! 25,000 sq feet of cats, living happily and safely - good for the cats, good for the turtle eggs and good for the birds. The founder is doing a wonderful job and I encourage you to visit, and volunteer your time and/or money.

One of the first things I noticed as I walked through the gate of the sanctuary was a girl sitting on the ground, surrounded by cats, who kept saying "I'm so happy!" I must admit her sentiment was spot-on. If you like cats, you'll be SO HAPPY you came to visit the Lanai Cat Sanctuary! Most of the cats are... More

A truly impressive cat sanctuary. I am 100% a huge cat lover and was ecstatic with my visit to the LCS. All 500 cats appeared to be extremely well taken care of, were very loving, and clean and healthy. After my first visit, thankfully my boyfriend was kind enough to let me go back the next day for some more... More

this place is a worthy cause and pretty neat. My daughter and her friend loved it roaming around and petting the cats.

So many cats wanting to sit on your lap, play with toys and be petted. It was very relaxing as the air is so clean, the breeze lovely, the sanctuary charming and the staff caring. Best part of our trip to Lanai.

This org rocks and my cat momma heart flew there for the day from Honolulu to volunteer ... yes volunteer is purrrfect and I brushed 350 of the 500 kitties that are housed in Paradise! This probably a place my own cats would like to relocate to! They are donation based, have no electricity, no wifi, and depend on people... More

We visited the sanctuary 5 years ago and it was just a collection of boxes for the cats shelter. Now it is a amazing. A "catfuteria" where they eat, a "kittengarten" for the babies. A separate area where new cats are kept till they can be neutered or spayed and checked for diseases. You are greeted by a dozen friendly... More
