Different landscape

Although we had limited time here it is a different part of the island and worth your time. I would spend more time here next time on the north side of the island -- very pretty.

We recently stayed a week in Princeville. It was absolutely gorgeous! The area is so lush and inviting we enjoyed the area very much. We spent the week in a condo near the St. Regis hotel, Puu Poa. It was a fantastic location. We dined in the local dining at the St Regis, which was very good, also at Hideaway... More

I heard about these shops more than once before and during my trip. Honestly, they didn't live up to the hype. Other than having a nice "food court" area, I didn't see anything there I hadn't already found somewhere else on the island. Probably worth a stop to eat if you are with a large group as you can all... More

No major stores here....but there is a Foodland and a hardware store. A couple of restaurants....more actually bars with food....and a Lappert's (can't forget that) and a Chicken In The Barrel (Hawaii's best BBQ)...kind of confusing to navigate but it's not that large so really not an issue.

Nothing to see here folks. If you are looking for a place to eat (we weren't) there seemed to be a couple of cute restaurants to try. If you want to buy some very high end wine or whiskey, there is a cute little shop that sells that. Otherwise, nothing really made it a shopping destination. For the record, we... More

Some cute shops convenient to our resort. Had a few restaurants and a Foodland for last minute essentials.

The Princeville Center is a great place to pull into, stretch your legs, get some groceries, have a meal, indulge in some dessert and poke around in some quaint stores. It's conveniently located off the hwy and close to Princeville resorts (about 5 mins).

This is the primary shopping location for anyone staying in Princeville, groceries, gifts, a Hardware store and more. We always stop in because they also have a Lappert's Ice Cream Shop. The best Ice Cream in Hawaii (in my opinion).

The shopping mall here includes a Foodland supermarket which works out well if you are staying on the North side of the island. Limited shops and restaurants, not my cup of tea for dining in the North. Gas station with a convenience store makes the trip less stressful if you are heading back to Kapaa' or Poipu. A welcome stop... More

On the north side this is where you get it all. The shopping center has all the necessities a post office, a supermarket, a gas station and a general store. There are also some galleries, real estate offices, a medical practice and some food options. Princeville Center is a very nice outdoor mall that can take care of almost all... More
