We have been to the place the two years ago for the sunset. It was very good experience with the water charge out from the rock hole like a column. Sometimes if the waves is big the column can be 15-20feet high. Normally is 10-12...More

Nice drive along the coast to get there. You might see green sea turtles pop their heads up. Great photo op to time with the incoming swell. The story goes...the original blow hole shot higher and farther and was dynamited because the salt spray was...More

What a beautiful place. It sounds like a Dragon about to blow smoke and then water splashes through the lava tubes. With the color of ocean and black lava it is gorgeous.

Spouting horn is a fun and awesome spot to visit, especially for those with young children. It's easy to get to, doesn't require a hike, and the ocean views and the otherworldly roar makes it all worth it. Sometimes you can even make out the...More

One of the wonders we found on Kauai, the roar you hear as the tide rolls in deafing. You have to be fast to get a pic.

We saw a number of these throughout Hawaii. Pretty cool to see, especially if you haven't seen one of these "blowholes". There's also a little flea market area where you can get some inexpensive pearls and souvenirs. If you're there, check out the "autograph trees"...More

We were there at the wrong time. Conditions made for a less than spectacular show, but we were able to purchase a cute souvenir while there.

The south beach area is beautiful. The spouting horn is fun to watch and film. There are local vendors selling jewelry and other trinkets nearby.

Our kids referred to it as the dragon hole. Our six year old grandson stood there forever cuz he could hear the dragon roar. Souvenirs are over priced here. Saw $7.00 turtles, the same ones in shops in Koala for two dollars less.
