Ok, so our trip was relatively short at only 2.5 days, but we packed in a lot and this was by far our favorite activity. I can't wait to bring my kids back to experience it. I would consider it a mild to moderate hike...More

I just loved the hike towards the cave. The scenary is mostly just stunning. So many great cliffs. We were able to see many turtles and even spotted a ray in the open sea. The way takes about 90 minutes, including a couple of stops...More

Awesome, amazing & beautiful views from this 4+ mile round trip hike. There is easy parking on the street just in front of the entrance to Shipwreck's Beach. As you walk towards the beach turn to the left and you will see a small path....More

Path is fairly obvious, which is good because it's not really marked. You'll walk through sand, bushes, rocks and part of a golf course. We forgot to take our map and couldn't tell where the trail ended. We stopped above the riding stables next to...More

As everyone says, especially if you go in the summer, get there early and bring lots of water! It’s a coastal walk, there is no shade. Can park in Grand Hyatt lot for free, go to concierge desk, they will give you a map and...More

Great hike along the coast. It starts at Shipwrecks beach. I would go early in the morning because parking can be limited and the sun can be brutal. Some of the trail is sandy and rocky so I would wear sneakers or hikers. There are...More

It's a nice trail next on the coast, easy one, but part of the trail is sand beach, no way to avoid.

Great walk that lets you choose how far you want to go out and back. We left Shipwrecks beach and went two miles along the cliff tops looking at the amazing shoreline and the power of the ocean. Awe inspiring. Had fun walking along Poipu...More

Not a bad hike at all regardless of age. We are in our 70's. Need to wear study shoes. Hike it in the early morning before it gets too hot. Highly recommend.

It is about 2 miles each way and should take a few hours. A good chunk of it is just walking on the beach. Nothing strenuous and good for all levels.

Going east to west, park at public parking located at the end of Ainakoa St (30 spots). Or park on Poipu Rd and walk 400 meters to the beach. Going west to east, follow Poipu Rd, sign to CJM Country Stables (past Golf... More
