This beach is on the dry side, so ifs raining elsewhere it would likely NOT be raining here. Great spot for families and older folks with the varieties of places to sit or go into the water. Lots of parking but this is a very busy Beach with a lifeguard on site. We want to bring the grandkids here for... More

Beautiful beach with 2 bays for swimming, surrounded by big grassy park with picnic tables. You can often see turtles near the rocks fringing the park. Have also seen big turtles as well as monk seals sleeping on the sand in the early morning.

Great beach for kids, protected by reef with good snorkeling for beginners and those above. Has facilities and is a popular place

Its one of the best beach park on the south for long rest and relax. Safe in all seasons, restrooms, baywatch. We have been there 2 times and always we saw big turtles and seal.

Easy to get to. Was hoping to snorkel but was too wavy for me. Maybe it's because I'm used to Maui's beaches which are generally calm in the mornings offering a better view underwater. Perhaps November is not the best time for this activity in Kauai.

All the public beeches are nice. But this one has a protected area to snorkel. Lot's of places to sit in the shade if you need it. And after dusk the turtles come in to shore to rest right on the beech. Huge sea turtles.

One of the best beaches in Kauai. Sunny almost all the time. Can be rough at times, depending on season and surf. Parking can be challenging, very populated beach.

Great beach all around. Fun to sit and people/surf watch, have a cold beer, hang with friends, picnic, bring the family. Decent parking options. Worth the go with the family.

Nothing beats this place. Very safe for swimming/wading with the family. Watchout for pesky roosters and birds. Quite annoying

Snorkeled, swam, tanned, ate a nearby eateries. Saw a sea turtle and Hawaiian Monk Seal both times I came out here. This beach is nice in the winter when the trade winds and rain pass over. It will still be breezy and may even rain a bit but, not that much. Parking is easy and very accessible. Lots of places... More
