Beautiful peaceful walk, few people as compared to North area. Would recommend comfortable shoes for all terrains as the landscape changes quickly (sand, rock, grass)

For the full hike, park at Shipwreck beach and hike along the coast. You can also park CJM Country stables and see the cave first. The Makaiwahi Cave trail is marked well. It was an amazing hike with gorgeous views!

Great hike just off of Shipwreck, can be hot. The different cliff views and scenery are interesting. If willing, there are areas to hike down the cliffs to the ocean - good fun for the sure footed!

Well worth the drive to the starting point for the trail. You walk through many zones, from sandy beach, to bay, to rough cliffs to desert. Take plenty of water. It was probably the hottest spot of our entire three weeks on the island. Beautiful...More

This is a lovely hike on which you can go for 1-2 miles before turning around. Stunning views of the water from high up so you can see currents, sea turtles, beautiful white capped waves. Also fun to look at the plant life and the...More

Nice hike here, not too long or strenuous, and so pretty. It could be dangerous for folks getting too near the edge though, so keep a close eye on youngsters.
