We much enjoyed the train ride and learning about the Sugarcane industry. Also interesting to learn about work and life back in the plantation days

This short train ride was very informative and interesting. The "conductor" told us a lot about the area and the various plants grown on the plantation. The rail car was clean.

What a great experience this was! First we did the plantation train ride, beautiful scenery, fascinating info, and so much fun feeding the pigs! The luau was awesome! Great food, free Mai Tai's and blue hawaiians!! The dancers were spectacular. My only complaint was that our tickets stated it was from 4:30-8:30 yet when we got there, ticket booths were... More

Lots of fun whether you like trains or not - and the conductors narration is very informative and entertaining! Buy your tickets on their website for a little discount!

Great tasty informative tour. Hike into the valley was beautiful. Yummy tasting right off the tree was amazing. Totally recommend it for all ages.

We took the four hour train and walking tour. The tour starts with a short train ride. When we get off the train, our tour guides provide us with some stale bread to feed the pigs, goats and chickens. (Yes, there are chickens here too LOL!) A donkey or two may show up as well. After that, the train continues... More

the nature walk was not very exciting, but we did learn about some new plants and trees. the lunch was ok but the venue could be improved greatly with a little more care - for example a table cloth, proper serviettes etc. The fresh pineapple however was great! and the orchard with all the different fruit was very interesting -... We took the train ride with walking tour and lunch. I would highly recommend this tour. The walking portion does require walking up and down earthen steps. I would recommend sturdy walking shoes; the walk might be difficult in flip flops. We especially enjoyed the tour through the fruit orchard. The citrus fruits were ripe during our visit, and we... We booked this train ride for the first day of our stay on Kauai, thinking that it would be a good intro to the history of the island. It served that purpose and more. Not only did we get a good understanding of the island and the plants. We also saw a lot of farm animals. The stop to feed... More
