I thought I didn't know what a luau was, so I looked it up "Hawaiian party or feast, especially one accompanied by entertainment". I even paid extra for the dinner. The only luau I've been to before (and others I've seen) are on the beach...More

the luau is fun- the food was disappointing -- run of tje mill "institution food" the show was pretty but lacked soul- Hawaiian dances are known to tell stories but we learned nothing of the stories or pathos were told to come at 5:25- local...More

We got there early and walked the grounds...nice shops a grand old mansion, manicured grounds and of course, chickens. Best show I'd ever seen including rock concerts. Lots of nice people and you sat in a table of 8/10. No problem. Lots of food and...More

The significance of the Hawaiian culture and history are demonstrated in the commentary and music of Hawaii Alive. And the charm of this show is that the family, wife, sons, nieces, and nephews are part of the performance. Aloha nui!

Great show, it was lots of fun. Several different types of dances. Wife especially liked the fire dancing.

We went here for dinner and show one evening during our stay in Kauai. We loved the show and the beverages that were served. The buffet had a large selection, but you can find better quality food on the island.

This is a great show in the open air courtyard at the Marriott. With pre-ordered tickets for show only, the line to get in moved quickly. Seating is "choose your own" so get there early if you want front row. It's a fairly small crowd...More

We didn't know what to expect when we signed up to see this show at our hotel but we were pleasantly surprised. All of the dancers seemed to be fairly young but extremely talented. This was a nice way to finish up our week in...More

For tickets, go to Hawaii Live Luau website. Select "show only" and "No", you don't have to be a guest at the Marriott to attend the show. Compared the NCL backed luau, this is much smaller, intimate, a family affair and a... More
