The drive there is ok with a small parking lot. You'll see the falls from above and some people illegally hike down to the falls. I guess if you are prepared for that you will enjoy it more than driving there take a pic and drive out of there.

These falls are not huge or anything but they are easy to get to. If you are doing a day trip to the island from another island or just want a quick look at some falls, these are easy to get to and its pretty much an in and out. There is a wall there now to keep people from... More

The falls are very beautiful. Definitely worth a visit. Recommend to get there in the morning or early afternoon. There is too little parking and some vendors have taken parking spaces making it difficult for visitors.

This is a nice lookout you can snap some pictures of the falls right from the road. Great for a quick stop for a photo op.

Easy drive to magnificent waterfall. No hiking required. Upclose view. No one leaves disappointed. Beautiful, especially in sunlight.

You can get a wonderful view of the spectacular Wailua Falls located at the end of the road yet within minutes of the main highway. Wailula Falls was popularized by the T.V. series Fantasy Island and is truly a Kodak Moment. The parking is limited but with a little patience the congestion is worth the wait to see this picturesque... More

Definitely worth driving to--no hiking to get to it. You get close to the waterfall and the pool below it gets a nice rainbow effect

very fun place to visit. For those who don't want to spend too much time paddling. You can go to the top of the river to the "hawaiian village" they rent canoes and it's only a 15 minute paddle to the trail head. the trail is a little rough so take a walking stick. You're likely to encounter some slippery... More

The view in the picture is what I saw. If you want to get closer prepare a head of time. There were alot of people who didnt go down to the pool at the base of the falls, it is farther down than it looks in the pictures. It is really pretty and I want to make it someday!

Having a traveler with problems walking, we were very happy that there was natural, beautiful sight-seeing we could do without having to hike. We went on a Wednesday morning, around 9 am, and there were several other tourists there. We managed to get a spot in the parking lot, but noticed many other cars had parked along the road. The...
