We tried to get to as may places as possible while in Kauai. This was just one of many beautiful places. The waterfall was a little low but still beautiful. We even saw wild parakeets while we were there.

The dirve to the falls is only several miles and once you’re there the view is spectacular! It’s so amazing we could actually drive this close to these beautiful falls. There’s not a lot of parking but people don’t stay long so if you wait...More

Touted as one of Kauai's best waterfalls, a "must see"; remembered from the opening of "Fantasy Island". Easy to reach from the main highway. But the side road near it is narrow and small parking lot can be crowded. Lots of brush in the way...More

Beautiful! Hiked down the very slick and muddy trail to the base of the falls. Got mosquito bitten, dirty and soaked from the mist. Well worth the effort and a true Indiana Jones experience. The view from the top was great as well.

There are so many water falls on Kauai, and this is a must stop. Lots of view points, doesn't take a long time and you can easily fit this in if you are doing a drive on the west side up toward Hanalei and Ka'a...More

We drove and were not disappointed. There is parking and it is limited. However everyone takes a look and so there are parking spots constantly coming available. The falls are impressive with a large amount of water.

The falls were really flowing after the recent rain during the night. So beautiful. Place to park, easy walk to rail to view falls. Great photo location.

Wailua Falls on Maui (not the one on Kauai) is about 7 miles past the town of Hana. It's a gorgeous waterfall and you can even take a swim in it.

Amazing waterfall close to Lihue, great shots of the great beauty of Kauai, in the mountains and sea.

You can check out the falls from the road. If there is a tyrail it will be a big downhill and probably steep down and tough to get back up. There are falls nearby that have a nice easy hike: I think the name is Hookipa... More

It's not particularly steep, but can be problematic during rainy periods. Active terms and adults should have no problems. Then there's the nice dip in the pool at the end.
