The Museum was informative in providing Kauai's history. We enjoyed listening to Uncle Larry on the ukelele and Uncle Charlie.

What a wonderful collection and such special presentations. I only wish they occurred every day - I wanted to go to every one but was only visiting for a short week. Thank you for all your efforts with this special museum!

Plenty to see at this museum. It is conveniently located in the middle of Lihue with lots of parking. It is a good way to spend a rainy day. The ticket is good for multiple days.

While the museum itself may be small, the amount of artifacts and information is plentiful! The employees were helpful and full of interesting facts. Growing up in the continental United States, my knowledge on Hawaiian history was limited. This museum provided a comprehensive insight into...More

I have never heard of a "lazy river" on Kauai, especially near the museum, it is in the middle of Lihue town.

Older kids yes, but really its a quiet subdued museum, and fairly small. I think kids would be bored and you would be busy keeping them from getting into things. Good luck
