I booked a massage here at the spa and got to access the pool as part of the package. It seemed like a great place to have young kids and the staff were so helpful and accommodating, especially Dreana! She really went out of her way to make my time here special, thank you, Dreana!
Tip:Get there early and your will get a good spot

We had massages here and felt they were fantastic. We came during Covid times which we know has been a hard adjustment for everyone, but the people here were responsive, professional and safe. We had a couples massage with Kipi and Hope, we both walked out very relaxed and happy. Carol, the onsite manager also provided us with access to the pool for the rest of the day which was great and a beautiful place so spend a day. Thank you and we would definitely visit again!

We had an incredible all-day experience at the spa at Koloa Landing. Melanie was the most talented masseuse I have ever had. I can't recommend working with her enough, it was really a pleasure!

The staff were all so kind, and went out of their way to add special touches to our all-day spa experience to make it exceptional.
Also, their robes are like clouds and we asked about where to buy them.

10/10 can't wait for the chance to go back!

We had massages here on our last day of vacation. It was a lovely ending to our trip and got us relaxed for our evening flight home. Spa amenities are great, as are the massages. Definitely on our list for our next visit to the island.

While vacationing in Kauai, I was in dire need of a massage to correct some serious body ailments after pushing my body to the limits in the gym and on the beach. My expectations of a "vacation" massage were not high. However after 2 nights of restless sleep because I couldn't get comfortable, I figured any massage was better than no massage. I booked an 80 min deep tissue massage with Audra. The Koloa spa itself is nicely appointed with modern decor, extremely clean and serene. Check in was easy and quick. Soon I was chatting with my therapist Audra about my ailments. She was thorough with her assessment/questions and walked me through what I could expect from her deep tissue massage. She has superior knowledge in all body mechanics and modalites. She went to work on me and right away I knew that I had found a fantastic therapist. She worked out all my kinks including my one problem area, putting my body back in balance. If Audra lived in my hometown, she would be the therapist that I would see on a regular basis. Her skills are top notch. I've had massages all over the world, 100's of massages and I can say with confidence that this massage was top 3, if not the best massage I've ever encountered. If you are staying in the Poipu area vacationing in Kauai, this is the therapist you will want to see. She is just fantastic. THANK YOU AUDRA!!!

The whole experience from start to finish was pretty meh.

The spa itself was clean and attractive but very small.

The steam room had a sign up apologizing that it was out of order. Given that it was the only extra feature besides sitting on lounge chairs it feels like a discount should be applied to the spa treatment.

I booked a 50 minute massage since it was all they had available. I decided to try the deep tissue Lomi Lomi massage since the description sounded lovely.

The massage therapist was pleasant enough. Maybe she was tired since I was her last client of the day but I asked for more pressure. I had circled I wanted to pay the extra 20 dollars for a deep Lomi Lomi massage. I get massages on a regular basis and have never had an up charge for that. Even after asking for more pressure it never really happened. Maybe that’s just the nature of that type of massage but I doubt it.

The whole thing was fine solely because relaxing on a massage table and getting oiled up is rarely a bad thing. Absolutely not worth that amount of money and I would not return.

By the time I finished my massage the spa water that had been there when I checked in had already been taken away and I had to ask for water. It would be nice for them to keep things set up until the last client leaves.

On a side note. The massage therapist was very tall so the massage table was raised ( which I absolutely support from an ergonomic perspective for the massage therapist) but I had to jump down off the table ( I am 5 5 so I’m not that short!). They should accommodate her with an adjustable bed or provide a wide and safe step for clients to get down. This is a fall / disaster waiting to happen.

I had a couples massage with some added features and it was very expensive.
Having said that, I don't mind paying extra if we are treated very well, and the experience is worth it. I get that we are in Hawaii, and that prices will be a bit higher... but for what it was, it was over-priced. For example.. the chocolate candies were hershey kisses... at least get some godiva/lindt?
The massage was good, but nothing amazing.

It's odd, the video on their website, they show a couples room with two showers, very private and intimate, a soaking tub, etc. If that was all included, then this would come as recommended. However, I'm not sure if it was just the fact that they were under construction around January or what... but we had a couple simple tables and some normal changing rooms/bathrooms.

I wouldn't recommend this place because of the value. If they added some simple things that cost less than $20... a nice hot couples shower in the massage rooms as seen in their video, and maybe like a 4 chocolate covered strawberries, then i would feel better about spending $500 on a couples massage and it would complete the experience.

I've been to spas all over the world, many of which have been at Marriott properties. This is attached to the hotel, but run independently. Overpriced massages for what you get ($135, plus 20% tip for 50 mins). Very basic spa waiting room (no fruit, drinks/tea or magazines). Shower/Changing area was not attended to (overflowing used towel bin, used razor in the shower, etc.). Massage was poor.

Well the resort I was staying didn’t have a spa. Boo Hoo. But they recommended The Spa at Koloa Landing, which was a 12 minute walk. I made a reservation for a 90 minute Lomi Lomi massage. The spa was definitely not “fancy” and didn’t have a lot of amenities like other spas I’ve been to, but it was nice. And clean. And the staff was very nice. Those are not negative comments, but stating the facts from my opinion. The BEST thing about my visit was Leinaala Benanua. She gave me an AMAZING massage. I’d never had a Lomi Lomi massage (and maybe still don’t understand what it all means! 😂) but she definitely knew what she was doing! I did a CBD upgrade ($30). It was WELL worth it! She focused on my lower back which was killing me! (I bought some CBD pain cream when I left.) One thing Lei did was focus along my spine in a way that no one has done before. It felt SO GOOD. Anyway, the spa was nice and I’d highly recommend my masseuse, Leinaala. (Ask her why her mom named her that - cool story!) Enjoy!

I read reviews of spas in the area. Many years ago I had a massage, etc at the Hyatt in Mauai. It was absolutely fabulous. I decided to go to the Spa at Koloa Landing where we were staying to save money and time.
The message itself was very good. If you want a spa experience go to Hyatt. I was brought inside and given a questionaire re: health issues, etc. I waited about 10 minutes and then brought in for the message. Because I was given no instruction re: where to put my belongings or to undress etc. the massussue left the room for 5 minutes while I changed. Time from my massage. The message was excellent but very little atmosphere. My clothes and belongs and robe were stacked up next to table.
I shleped my belongings while in a robe to showers, etc. There was a steam room. Bright lights - no atmosphere. But there were lockers with keys, etc. Too late.
When I got to front desk there were three employees, one who appeared to be the manager. I explained that I was disappointed by lack of directions etc. The younger employee started to apologize and the "manager" talked above me the whole time. She kept saying that people don't always change before the massage. I said that I it was very awkward and not the experience I envisioned especially for the cost involved. Nothing like I had ever experienced before.
Her attitude made the experience worse.
Resort was beautiful but the spa was a big diappointment. Massage was very good if that's all you expect. Gratuity and fee presented at desk.
